Great tool for cleaning around faucets, sink drains, and more. Used it to clean hard-to-handle space around the jets in my tub and it worked fantastically. The magnetic interchangeable heads are well done and super useful. I used a larger one to clean mildewy grout in the shower—great purchase! Beyond this, their customer service is top-notch—responsive and professional. I inadvertently wrote a critical review for another product for this one, and they handled the mistake with courtesy and grace. Would definitely recommend!

This little scrubber is amazing! I was surprised, but I sprayed some bleach Follmer on my grout that has been so dark in my kitchen and it cleaned it right up then I mopped over my whole floor with my mop and my floor looks brand new. I was thinking of purchasing a couple hundred dollar, professional scrubber, but I am so glad I found this. It’s really great and it works. Of course you have to do every line of grout, but the scrubs it for you so it goes a lot quicker. It’s just what I needed.

I have shopped for smaller size spin scrubbers like this, and even used one of them. And I have noticed that they either run at a slightly higher rpm, or a much higher rpm than this HOTO spin scrubber. Which is about 180 on it’s lower setting and about 260 on it’s higher setting. However, the mini spin scrubbers that run at a higher rpm are always going to be much louder. And that’s the main reason this one isn’t that loud.

HOTO says that it’s noise level is less than 59 dB, and that’s about what I got when I measured the sound level on the lower speed. As far as the higher speed goes, it actually wasn’t much louder than that at all, as I found that it was around 65 dB or so.

HOTO’s other two (more heavy duty) spin scrubbers, are also much quieter than most other spin scrubbers out there. And this is because they have realized that torque will clean things much more effectively than speed. Think about it. When you’re trying to scrub something by hand that just doesn’t want to come up, you usually wind up having to put some force behind your scrubbing in order to get it up, right? Well, with most of the other electric spin scrubbers that run at a higher rpm and that are much louder than this one? When you go to apply some force to them, it doesn’t take much at all before they just completely stop spinning. But that’s not the case with this little electric spin scrubber. It lets you actually put a little power behind it’s scrubbing. And THAT, is what I like the most about it.

I also really like how easily the heads can be switched since they are held on magnetically. And that it can scrub things underwater, up to 3 feet deep, for close to 30 minutes. Then there’s the cool hidden hook that can be used to hang it up, OR that it can be set down on it’s flat base and stay standing.

Hold on, there is one more thing. I also like that it’s run time on the low speed setting is about 210 minutes (3½ hours). Not to mention, that it’s run time on the high speed setting is… Oh, that’s right. That’s one of the things that I don’t like. But only because that information isn’t detailed ANYWHERE!

But anyway, another thing that I don’t like so much, is that it takes about 3 hours to charge the battery at it’s maximum charging rate of 5V-1a, which is only 5 watts. But that’s not that big of a deal I suppose. And so, despite those two downsides, I would still highly recommend HOTO’s little electric spin scrubber to anyone who is considering getting it.
