Thanks so much best ever!

It runs better and is more fun to play than Scarlet. I wish Amazon handled the launch day deliveries better because the game was delivered very late and I only got to play a short time at night even though I pre ordered months in advance. For that reason, I’m deducting one star and pre ordering from a different retailer in the future.

Pros:
-Cutscenes look good
-Pokemon look good
-It runs well on Switch 1
-New battle system
-Interiors of buildings look good
-Character designs look nice
-UI looks nice
-The animations are faster
-The main characters aren’t static during talking scenes
-You get any miss thrown pokeballs back
-Mega Evolutions are back
Cons
-The builds on the map are flat textured cubes
-The roof have very little decoration
-The roads all look the same with little creativity or color
The Pokecenter looks worse than a 7/11 store
-The wild areas are just overgrown patches of grass the city won’t landscape
-The tutorial is long and will make you feel like a child being dragged through the store
-There is no voice acting which makes some of the dialogue confusing because of the french words thrown in
-The new battle system is quite different than any other game (Personal Choice but I don’t like it)
-Some mega evolutions are behind a paywall and or multiplayer ranked matches
-Some Mega designs are good at all
-There are random rock boulders on streets that act like obstacles which throw off the city aspect
-Npc are just standing there and city has barely any life to it
-Barely any color or difference of biomes
-The city is very flat and only has rooftops for verticality which makes it feel more like a platformer
-The ingame cutscenes are bland and are very cringy
TL;DR
The games has some cool aspects but after the sugar rush it is just a bland platformer-monster catcher in maze of flat faced buildings with little creativity and color.

I normally don’t post reviews, but this might be the worst game I’ve ever played. A few issues:
1. The constant conversation & dialogue. (Feels like I paid for a movie)
2. The game pacing, every 3-5 seconds you’re stopped for more conversation. (it makes Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s game pacing seem like 90mph)
3. The game controls too much, you can’t really explore.
You spend most of the time in conversation with other people. Very little actual gameplay.

Awesome game me and my kids loved it definitely worth the money. Totally recommend it

This game should have audio voice actors in the game. Now, I have watch someone else read the text. Too many games are coming out with audio games. Pokemon is behind the times. The game is harder then legends arceus. Why sleeping on a bench like a homeless person to change night to day and day to night. Pre-orders get a Ralts in mystery gifts. You have an actual friend or 2 games to evolve some of the pokemon compared to legends arceus. No regional variants either is just sad.

No voice acting in 2025 when Pokemon is DISGUSTINGLY RICH. The people look like toys. They use the game pokemon cries from the gameboy games. No. You can’t anymore money from me.

Amazon didn’t include the preorder bonus but was nice enough to rectify the issue. The game is fun, but the world is a little small. It just overall seems like a cash grab with a lot of megas locked behind the DLC and other paywalled ways of getting mons you’d want. I feel like Nintendo could have given the fans more with this game
