Nintendo Switch™ 2 Pro Controller by Nintendo
$89.00

I love this controller. The look, the feel, and the performance is unmatched. Sleek and soft to the touch. Buttons are silent and sturdy. Def a huge step up from the switch 1 pro controller. Very happy with the quality and my purchase overall.

I’ve been using this controller for a day so far, but already love it. I’ve been using the original Switch 1 Pro controller for the past seven years which was already an amazing controller, but this new one takes it to another level. It feels even more solid than the original version, it’s a bit smaller & the buttons are slightly larger. The original is backward compatible with the Switch 2, but the main flaw is that it can’t wake the console, but the new one does. One nice improvement with the new one is that you just do a simple tap on the home button to wake the console whereas you had to press & hold the home button usually a couple of times to wake the Switch 1 console with the original Pro Controller. I prefer the smooth finish of the grips compared to the textured one of the original & feels very comfortable in my hands. Overall it’s a worthy upgrade from the original controller & was for sure worth the high price .

The Switch 2 Pro controller is very good. Feels great in the hands, nice weight and works flawlessly with the games I’ve played to date (Mario Kart World, Tears of the Kingdom). Definitely feels a bit more precise than the original switch pro controller. No lag experienced once calibrated (which happens during setup) and was able to grab 1st place in each race on 150cc in MKW, if only on the Mushroom cup so far!

This is a great controller. If you have the first pro controller you don’t really need this one but I’m glad I bought it. It feels great in my hands and all the buttons and joysticks work really well. It I recommend this pro controller 2 highly.

The Switch 2 Pro Controller is amazing! It feels super comfortable to hold, even during long play sessions, and the buttons and sticks are incredibly smooth. Larger hands might have a little more trouble reaching the rear buttons since the controller is slightly smaller than its predecessor, but overall the grip feels much more natural. The analog sticks are some of the smoothest I’ve ever used on a controller. Time will tell if they hold up long-term, but right now they feel fantastic.
I love the addition of the two extra buttons on the back, which you can map to anything. They make certain games much easier—especially if you’re looking to be a bit more competitive.
The battery life is excellent, lasting around 40 hours, and it charges faster than the old Pro Controller. It’s also lighter, which helps reduce hand fatigue. And with USB-C charging, it’s super convenient.
The only drawback is the price tag at $89 USD. While that’s definitely on the higher side, the controller feels premium compared to third-party options that cost about half as much. If you play your Switch often, I think it’s absolutely worth it.

In my time playing video games I’ve used a fair share of controllers all from different manufacturers console platform console generations and more.
One of my favorites was definitely the original Nintendo Switch Pro Controller It’s amazing battery life in fairly sturdy build I quite enjoyed it I actually had two of them.
And this controller here is amazing continuation of what they Had with the switch One Pro controller.
For starters it’s a tad smaller which makes it much easier to hold With his Ergonomics being improved ever so slightly it’s already pretty great before so it’s even better now. All the buttons feel extremely solid to use and with the addition of back buttons that are programmable per game on the fly and a headphone jack what else could one want?
While it is an expensive controller if you compared what it offers to the likes of like an Xbox controller or even a Playstation one it’s not that bad and the fact has the back buttons included which they don’t unless you get their $150+ Pro controllers

Controller is great
-battery life single charge feels like it last 40-60 hours
– feels good in hand and is very responsive
Only nit pick is that it is a but expensive

Don’t even bother with the knockoffs—trust me, we tried one, and it just doesn’t compare. This Switch 2 controller is solid, responsive, and built for serious gaming, especially if you’re diving into online play. Since switching to this controller, I’ve noticed a real difference in my Mario Kart races—I’ve moved up a few spots just from better control and quicker reactions.
Now, full disclosure: I still haven’t dominated those online racers who seem to have lightning-fast reflexes and perfect drift timing, but I can feel myself getting closer with every race. The controller feels comfortable for long sessions, the buttons are perfectly responsive, and the grip is excellent, so I’m not cramping up mid-tournament.
If you’re tired of laggy, unresponsive knockoffs or just want an upgrade that actually helps you perform better, this is the one to grab. Online opponents beware… I’m coming for you, one well-timed drift at a time.

I wasn’t sure if Nintendo could improve upon the already great Switch Pro Controller, but they absolutely nailed it with this! This is definitely what I would consider a “premium controller”, and an improvement to the original model in every way.
The build quality is robust and well made with high quality soft-touch plastic materials that feel excellent to hold. The handles are slightly slimmer than the original model, and they feel very comfortable in my hands. The handles also have a grippy texture that doesn’t slip, even when my hands become sweaty. The ergonomics are very well done here and the overall comfort is truly incredible. I would even put this above the DualSense which was already one of my favorite controller designs.
The face buttons are tactile and feel great to press. They are responsive with no input delay, and the top and shoulder buttons are satisfying with a tactile response and springy pop that feels incredible.
The analog sticks perform well and the thumb grips are comfortable and easy to use. Unfortunately, Nintendo did not use hall effect technology in this controller which, in my opinion, is the only negative I can think of and it really is a shame that stick drift could still be a possibility down the road.
The weight of this controller is perfect, not too heavy while feeling incredible premium in every aspect of the word. There are also pro-style back buttons on the reach of each handle that you can program to literally any other button. It comes in handy with certain games, and the possibilities are endless with the two additional buttons.
I also noticed improvements in the d-pad which feels less chunky than the original model, and feels more precise and comfortable to use for platforming. I tried the d-pad with Hollow Knight for five hours and I was very impressed with the improvements.
Very well done, and worth every penny.
