Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle by Nintendo

Tactical Junkie –
What is the new Mario Kart worth to you?
I have an Xbox and a PC. This is my first Nintendo product since Super Nintendo. First let me start with the good.
Good: It looks great; the build quality is solid for this type of product. Switch Two is an innovative idea as both a home console and handheld. It is easy to set up on TV, just follow the device’s on-screen prompts. The new Mario Kart is fun! It is also great to see newer non-Nintendo releases such as Split Fiction available on this platform.
Bad: Prices for digital games are steep, and you must pay to play online with other players! While this is a handheld, it is also a tv console… so the graphics for demanding games are okay but still lower because the GPU is not as powerful as Xbox series X, and not even close to a newer PC GPU (e.g., Nvidia 5000 series). However, its ability to be a handheld device is a fair tradeoff for this.
The biggest downside and the reason I am removing a star from the rating is the game library. While there are some major triple A releases available outside the Nintendo brand, there are few, and there are even fewer that have been optimized for Switch 2 at the time of writing this. In fact, what games are exclusive to Switch 2 that were not just visual improvements of Switch One games? At the time of writing this, its in the single digits.
In conclusion, it is a fun product for Nintendo fans who are familiar with and enjoy the existing gaming library. It is also great for those who want a powerful handheld device that need portability but can make sacrifices on TV console performance on FPS and Resolution. It can run some newer games on TV easily, but not as well compared to other modern flagship consoles. The target audience is children based on the type of games on Switch, but some are fun for adults as well. I will play Mario Kart, both newer Zeldas, and then I will sell it next year. Unless some amazing newer games become available. For now… It is pushing five hundred dollars to play the new Mario Kart, and a couple of previous-generation Zelda games with HDR 1440p. 3.5/5 for me based on that, which I believe is still a generous review.
PS: At the time of writing this inventory is low, and it is by invitation only. Only purchase from “Amazon” as the listed seller and check the MSRP before you buy. There are scalpers and scammers.

Nintendo put out another quality system. Being a Nintendo fan from the days of the NES – Nintendo has always put out systems that feel substantial and well built and I’m happy to report the Switch 2 delivers. The price feels about $50-100 too high but prices of everything have gone up lately. I do appreciate Nintendo also basically snuffed out the scalper market. Sure when the Switch first came out they were hard to find but within 2-3 months of its release you can find a Switch 2 at almost every retailer either online or in store at cost. A problem that plagued Xbox and PlayStation. Now the big question is it worth the upgrade?? Right now Nintendo has a limited catalog of Switch 2 games but the backwards compatibility with new upgrades to some classic games give it immediately playability and Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bonanza are well worth the price of admission. Just feels like we are missing a couple more heavy hitter games at launch. We are due a new Mario Odyssey or even a new Animal Crossing.
Graphics in handheld never looked better. The screen despite not being an OLED is beautiful and bright. The bigger screen which I didn’t think would hold much weight is a welcome and needed upgrade. Also with the joy cons being bigger they feel more comfortable in adult hands. There is a lot to love about the Switch 2 and I’m glad I upgraded.

Impressive upgrade from my Switch OLED. Get it with Mario Cart, it’s a fun game. Solid console, big display, and works great with many old accessories.

The only console/s I have owned in the past 20 years is the Switch and now the Switch 2. Yes, preference but also an amazing universe and experience.
I don’t even really game all the much, but this has me gaming on a regular basis. Great graphics, smooth operator and always entertains our guests! Huge upgrade from the previous gen but keeping both.

The Switch 2 doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel—and that’s exactly why it works. It delivers just the right amount of upgrades to feel fresh without alienating what made the original so beloved. The improved screen clarity and snappier UI make everything feel smoother, and load times are noticeably better across the board.
Mario Kart is still an absolute blast—whether you’re solo grinding or trash-talking friends in local multiplayer. The visuals pop more, and the frame rate holds steady even in chaotic races. It’s familiar, but with a little extra polish that makes it hard to put down.
Big shoutout to the new Joy-Cons: they feel sturdier, more responsive, and finally fit comfortably in my larger hands. No more awkward cramping during long sessions. It’s a small change, but it makes a big difference.
If you loved the original Switch but wanted a bit more refinement, this is the upgrade you’ve been waiting for.

Nintendo Switch 2 is just an upgrade over the original Nintendo Switch. It runs most games better, has better video quality output, and the included Mario Kart World is a solid game. It definitely hasn’t justified it’s position as a new platform yet, but games will come in time, probably.
I’m a PC gamer, so consoles in general are a tough sell, but as far as consoles go, Nintendo’s offerings are usually worthwhile for the high quality exclusives.
The Switch 2 is priced a little expensive, but so is everything these days, so it’s not much of a surprise. Worth the cost of entry? Tough to say, but for me, I won’t be without my Nintendo games for long, so it was an inevitable choice, even if it made my wallet quite thin.
Make sure to get a screen protector.

El producto es el deseado, la consola llegó en excelentes condiciones. El juego ya no viene en código, sino que viene “instalado” en la Switch; con iniciar sesión se instala a la cuenta registrada.
