This is our first VR headset, and there was definitely a learning curve getting everything set up. The Meta/Horizon account process wasn’t too bad, especially if you already have Facebook, but setting up “supervised” accounts for our two kids (who don’t have FB) took some extra time and patience.
Once it was all running, though, the kids love it — especially playing Gorilla Tag! The experience is super fun and immersive for them.
Battery life could be better — we get about 2 to 2.5 hours max — but honestly, that’s probably a good natural break point anyway. The headset does feel a bit heavy on the neck after extended use, especially if you’re new to VR like we are.
Overall, the Meta Quest 3S has been a great entry into virtual reality for our family. If you have kids, I highly recommend setting up supervised accounts rather than giving them free rein in the VR universe.

🙂 works well! Good quality and I quite enjoy it. Way better than my old quest 2. This was originally a gift for my boyfriend which ended up not wanting it so it became a thing for me 😀 but it’s comfortable on my face, and all of that. I recommend it. <33

Awesome product, so glad I got it! Very cool technology, I like that it has a remote desktop as that is so useful when I am working on projects for work & the games are fun! I for sure recommend this as it’s fun, useful, and is so worth the price!

I bought this for my 18 year old son and he loves it. He says the graphics are amazing and it’s really comfortable to wear. He says it’s much better than the first one that came out. The games are a little more expensive than I thought they would be but he’s enjoying everything it came with. I like that it appears to be easier to use than the first. He’s no longer bumping into things or the walls. He likes that he can watch movies with it. Maybe someday I’ll get to try it.

Pretty cool!! I don’t know too much about the vr headsets. This one though is really cool. You can get meta + and have a lot of games to play from!! Watch YouTube!! Message on WhatsApp. Hook it up to your pc and play games in a large theatre!! It’s comfortable, not hard on the eyes, can play hours without my eyes hurting!!! It’s great if you want to get exercise! Play ping pong, baseball, bowling, basketball or anything with boxing which will help your cardio big time!! I haven’t found huge need for the larger memory, 1 month in and 128 gb is perfect I have about 20 games downloaded!!! The only thing I will complain about is the battery life. If you’re planning on playing games a lot or watching a lot of media get yourself a very long charging cable cause the battery runs out quick it feels, even with a battery saver mode on. Outside of that, I would highly recommend anyone who’s getting into the vr to try it out!!!

It works well. I bought MQ3s for my school. The first one I got from Amazon was not working properly, so I returned it and got a replacement. The second one I received is working fine and clear.

For the price, this is the best headset around.
Coming from the original rift and the quest 2, this is a step up in visual fidelity and wireless game streaming from steam link.
The AR capabilities are great, you see your true surroundings with decent cameras built in to the headset and then the graphics are added to your true environment in almost real-time.
The head strap isn’t the most comfortable, but it works and there are many third party selections to change it.
The battery life is better than my quest 2 as well.
TL;DR – If you have only $300, this is a smart purchase, If you can afford the standard Quest 3 with the new lenses and better clarity, maybe choose what is your priority.

Owned a HTC Vive when they first released around 2016. Quest 3s was first vr upgrade since then. Visuals are awesome, tracking of controllers is fluid, hand motion tracking was surprising good.
Battery life lasts 90-120 minutes playing golf+, or 120-160 minutes streaming movies / videos.
Most games are around 20gb so the storage was not an issue for me.
For price point, this VR headset is remarkably good.
