I’ve been using the Logitech G Pro headset for a while now, and it’s an outstanding product. The sound quality is crystal clear with rich, immersive audio that enhances both gaming and music experiences. The build is sturdy yet lightweight, making it comfortable for extended use. The noise-canceling microphone delivers clear communication, perfect for online gaming or calls. The design is sleek and professional, and the adjustable headband ensures a perfect fit. Overall, the Logitech G Pro headset offers excellent performance, comfort, and durability—highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-tier audio experience.

    Pros
    – Visually appealing design
    – Good sound quality / Very neutral imo
    – Incredibly good mic
    – Comes with a bag to carry it and accessories.
    – Detatchable ear muffs/ replaceable.
    – Detatchable mic

    Cons
    – 120$ for a headset whos audio quality is very similar to the Logitech G432’s, which is only around 40 dollars.

I personally love the surround sound Ghub provides for this headset. I was expecting a bit more upgrading from my G432 to this, particularly in the sound quality department but overall id say this is a pretty good headset. It feels much more premium compared to the G432.

I purchased this headset for my teen son who uses it exclusively for watching YT vids and with multi player games. I purchased at the end of July. The headset has been great. I did not want a headset with a wireless bluetooth connection, as that “tech”, which I use loosely, is marginal at best. I am not a fan, and welcome ANY other wireless technology that is NOT bluetooth. The other benefit is the separate removable pin to usb cable. This is for the 7.1 surround sound. This, in my opinion, is a key feature. Why? Skip to mid Nov, where the pin mysteriously becomes bent. Simultaneously, my son was complaining about a low volume, so I purchased a new pin to USB cable from Logitech. This didn’t solve the issue with the low volume. Logitech provides free software that is used to adjust headset volume controls. This was news to me, which I discovered this morning (1 week to xmas), when I phoned Logitech support. The initial woman and tech fellow with whom I spoke to resolve the issue was AWESOME! I didn’t have to wait, provide proof of purchase, none of that. We went straight to the software on the PC to get to a resolution. I unselected the noise reduction, increased the volume to 100%. For some reason it was set to 70%, which more than likely contributed to the low volume, and did seem to resolve the issue. Aside from the amazing customer support, which is important, the headset is very comfortable. I am not a user of over the head earphones, but these fit me well. My son wears them for hours on end, with no complaints. We are on the small size, under 5’5″, so have smaller noggins. He raves about the microphone quality, which is very good. This element is quite difficult to find in lower end headsets. I am thrilled Logitech support was able to resolve the low volume issue. We’ve had this set for 5 months, and no issues with the cushioning or any other aspect of this well constructed product. We are no audiophiles, so I am not measuring this on specific sound characteristics. If you are mainly watching videos and gaming, this is a great option at a moderate price point. Not cheap, but not over 100. I will update once I receive the report from my son, on his impressions of the adjustments made. If he is not completely satisfied, we will simply call Logitech support back and see what they recommend. I would buy these again, but luckily, fingers crossed, the issue was resolved!! We’ve gone through 4 headsets over the past 3 years, so I am just about done with buying these things. I hope this helps!

I’m coming from years of using a G935 headset, and I can say with certainty that The G Pro X (SE) doesn’t have that distinct broad clarity and immersive sound floor I’ve gotten used to. The Pro X is supposed to have the same drivers as the older G635/G935 headsets, but Logitech is applying post-processing with the Pro X that I’ll touch on later. I had to spend a great deal of time tweaking the EQ in GHub to get these to sound remotely similar to my G935, and it involved cranking the two bass and two Treble nobs about 8-10 dB above mid.

The EQ is also not as good with the Pro X, only having 5 bars to work with instead of 9 or 10 that the G935 does, making EQ adjustments less precise.

That said, the blue mic software that the Pro X uses makes the microphone a lot better. To be fair, you can probably just use Nvidia’s broadcasting AI software to do a similar job with noise filtering with any old headset, but having the blue software integrated into GHub is far simpler to deal with.

So the real selling points of this headset are that it’s definitely lighter and more durable with a much better build quality (basically a rip-off of the hyperX cloud headset), and that the microphone (with the blue software) is much better than just about any other gaming headset on the market. Without the blue software it’s no better than a 30 dollar cheapo brand headset microphone, so keep that in mind if you’re thinking of using with a game console, a phone or a PC using 3.5mm jack(s).

The G Pro X is definitely a good headset for the price point. The build quality is better than any other headset from Logitech that I’ve used (like I said it’s a copy/paste design of the HyperX Cloud). The sound quality is also good, but tweaking the EQ is necessary. When comparing the sound back and forth between the Pro X and the G935, the big difference is that the Pro X seems to apply a loudness normalization in software, while the G935 does not. This makes the Pro X arguably better for gaming to sound w#0re people’s footsteps near you and what not, but it also makes audio less colorful and alive than the G935 for entertainment and music. Tweaking the EQ fixes this a bit, but not completely. If it wasn’t for Logitech’s superior software, I’d be more inclined to go back to a Steel Series Arctis headset as they have a really nice sound floor and clarity, better than the Pro X if memory serves.

If I wasn’t coming from a G935, I would probably give the Pro X a 5 star review because it’s a solid gaming headset as well as great headphones for anything else. I’m giving this headset a 4 star instead because Logitech is being too aggressive with the loudness normalization imo, and then downgrading the EQ in GHub to boot. To illustrate what I mean, the G935/G635 with a bit of EQ tuning and with surround enabled makes you forget you’re using headphones and they can mimic a good quality surround speaker setup. The G Pro X sounds like you’re wearing headphones, where you can tell the sound is coming from a fraction of an inch away from your ear – with surround enabled. This might be a pro or a con depending on the individual and what they will use the headset for.

Hope this review helps others in choosing whether to buy this headset. I think it’s a solid choice for many reasons. My griping is mostly me being nitpicky, the pros far outweigh any cons I’ve listed here by a mile.

I know that it is a gaming headset that was created for gaming, but as a Logitech fan guy, I was really disappointed with their sound quality even with EQ system that Logitech provided with G Hub.

Okay for gaming but not recommend for the others. It was muffled and not clear when I listened to some music and watched some movies. I tried PUBG, but really no improvement from cheap $15 chinese IEMs that I have.

    Mic functioned well though.

It is for the one who only plays games on there desktop. No Youtube no music no movies.

To be honest, I would give it 2 stars, but because it works and it serves its purpose, I gave 4 stars.

This gaming headset is perfect and fits all my needs and possibly yours too. This headset has a quality feel to it and is very durable as I’ve clumsily dropped it multiple times and it still holds up just fine. Its microphone and sound quality is great and I get no complaints from my gamer friends. The adjustable audio control on the wire as well as the mute button that’s quick and easy. My only problem would be the headset might seem a bit heavy and can tend to leave a headset dent on your head if on for long gaming hours. But overall the pros outweigh the cons and this gaming headset is awesome
