Miguel Ángel Reyes –
I bought these in April 2025 to replace my old SteelSeries headset, which was just getting dated.
I’ve owned Corsair headphones in the past and they were great, but it seems Corsair is cutting corners these days.
Since I purchased these, there have been multiple failure points:
From day one, the mic had issues. At random intervals, it would either stop picking up my voice entirely, or according to friends, sound staticky like I was in a wind tunnel. The only fix was to unplug the dongle and plug it back in, which would work for a day or so before the problem returned, but seriously? that is just poor quality control.
After just three months, the left earcup fell off. Upon inspection, the “pleather” covering was literally just glued to the plastic mount. The glue failed, and the vinyl peeled away from the mount entirely. I repaired it myself with CA glue, which held up but now the right earcup has done the same thing, and I’m not fixing it again. These are going straight in the trash where they belong.
This isn’t about the price, these are actually on the more affordable end for higher-tier gaming headsets. It’s about brand trust. Corsair used to make excellent gaming headsets, but the quality control on this pair has been such a disappointment that I won’t be buying or recommending Corsair products again.
Now I’m moving on to the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, which I should have just purchased back in April.

Solid headphones for amateur gamer setup. I play video games here and there in my free time and these headphones do everything I need them to. The mic quality is great and if you’re not a big audiophile, I think these still have great sound quality.

These headphones are excellent—built with top-notch materials and feel very solid and durable. The fit is comfortable, and you can tell they’re made to last. They sound impressive on their own, but what really elevates them is the SoundID feature; it lets you personalize the audio profile to match your listening preferences, and the difference is noticeable.
Whether I’m gaming, listening to music, or watching content, the experience feels tailored and immersive. These deliver both in terms of quality and customization—I love them!

Great headset, clear mic. Son loves it and friends comment how clear he sounds when gaming together.

Ok, the MSRP of this headphones is 70 USD, but is common to see in 50 or even 40, so if you bought this for that price is excellent, is not better gaming headset under 50 USD, has a really good sound quality and the micro is outstading, maybe i never gonna have another headset with this micro quality, is way too much micro that the hyperx cloud III (no hate, only a comparison point) and feels really confortable even for people with big heads and presciption glasses like me and the auto EQ Sound ID is amazing, really gives you a sound for your taste, so anything looks perfect, yep, except for the quality construncion.
And dont take me wrong, feels really solid, but the ear pads are really bad, you will need change in the future (1>year) due to the bad glue, and that is 15 USD more to the price and also the plastic headband becomes rigid so is easier to broke, also the micro is really good but is some quiet so you will need so increase the gain level.

I bought this headset after doing some research on it and so far I’ve been really happy with it. I use it while working from home to listen to music or podcasts to cover sounds from leaf blowers, construction work, lawn mowing etc. I also tried it for gaming and it has performed really well so far.
You will need Corsair’s iCUE software and to use the USB adapter if you want to manage EQ settings and use 7.1 surround sound, otherwise it will work with the 3.5mm jack for your PC or console. It’s a comfortable fit that can be adjusted, the ear muffs are soft and don’t hurt your ears after prolonged usage.
I bought this to upgrade from a Razer headset that was incredibly buggy and their Synapse software was terrible with multiple issues and incompatibilities with Windows 10 and 11. I would happily recommend this headset.

I purchased this item in 2023, and it still works great! It’s still white, and all of the pieces, like the mic and its mobility, moving it up to your head and down to your mouth as if it were still new, and the headband size adjuster that still locks into place after you select your size, like it’s new. This headset is built with quality parts. It’s lightweight, and it’s easy to connect because it plugs right into my controller, and I never have to worry about charging it. The sound quality is amazing, and it sounds exactly like my PS5 PS headset. The design is great, and it’s sold for a great price (I paid $45 in 2023)! This headset is used for almost 7 – 12 hours a day for gaming on the PS4. I’m about to purchase another one to use on my PS5 because I am able to control the volume better on these, and my PS5 ear part keeps falling off.

I had a specific need: What’s a headset I can recommend to my overseas coworkers (some who mumble with thick accents) that has a VERY clear mic, good headphone sound quality, works as USB-A or old-school headphone miniplug, and all-day comfort… and under $60.
We have a winner! I would say this has an EXCELLENT mic (the best I’ve tested), very good comfort, and very good headphones. I also have Sony studio headphones (no mic), and I am an audiophile who could bore you with the details of why those are better for recording, music, etc. But these Corsairs will give anyone audio listening enjoyment. I’m relatively picky about this, but I do know that for 90% of listeners, these sound good enough to be their only music headphones and they wouldn’t tell any difference with my Sony’s.
Alternatives I looked at:
The Logitech H390a is a cheapy, with a very clear, VERY bright (perhaps overly bright for many speakers, but this is a fabulous solution for mumblers) microphone, but stiff headphone pads on the ears. I did a 1-hour call with them, and it was okay… but I wouldn’t want them for 3 hours in a row.
The SteelSeries Artic Nova 1P – I wanted to love these, comfy, great headphones, but the mic is a little muffled, especially when too close to the mouth. But yeah, nowhere near the mic quality of this one.
I dropped a whopping $160 on the Jabra Evolve2 65 – and everyone should know this: 95% of the WIRELESS headsets out there are going to have very poor audio from the bluetooth for the mic. I returned these when I found out. Wanted to love them for their comfort and headphone quality, but the lack of high-frequencies in the mic is a total deal breaker for me.
If you want the most UNDERSTANDABLE audio quality for work calls, this Corsair set is the best I’ve found! Better than the apple wired set. (which was my previous gold standard, but certainly picks up way more environmental noise.)
