I have been using this headset in conjunction with my Xbox and family TV for gaming for over a year.
The product has sufficient sound quality that is plenty loud, it goes much louder then my preference. When in use, the padding and sound also sufficiently cancel out surrounding noises to experience good game play.
Connecting to my Xbox is a matter of plugging in a USB style dongle and turning the head phones on, be sure the Xbox sound goes to the headphones (in settings).
The headphones charge through a usb C port at the base of one ear and take only a few hours to charge. The charge will last me several days of game play, they advertise 15hours, and I would agree that I get about 15hours out of each charge, maybe more. At the end of each charge the user will hear a beep letting you know that the headphones are low in power. I find that I have at least a game or two before they fail once the beeping begins (Fortnite games).
This is my second set of this brand of headphones, I gave up on my first set after 3+ years of use. They began to have static in the sound making game play painful. I have had no issues with this second set, any dropping of sound or static usually means that the USB dongle has come loose and needs to be pulled out and placed back into the port on the Xbox, a very rare event.
Overall, great set/brand of headphones thatI will continue to use and purchase.

I’ve been using this headset for multiple years now and I am still satisfied with my purchase. It is fairly durable and easy to set up and use. I love the on headset sound controller, especially when I want to listen to my game more then the people talking and vise versa. The microphone is easy to switch on and off and the pads are fairly comfortable.

Confort : premièrement Astro a20 niveau confort est vraiment excellent et léger il nous déranges pas on le sent confortable comme si on n’avait pas sur la tête les oreillettes sont confortables également d’une grandeur parfaite et pas trop petite
Micro : Un excellent Micro ce nest pas le meilleur des micros mais vraiment excellent j’aime bien les micro rabattable simple pour couper le son et le son du micro est bon cela ne sonne pas comme les Steelseries que personnellement je déteste !”
Sonore : Vraiment Astro a20 brille avec ces 3 différents option sonore directe sur le casque un son clair avec des bonnes basses quand je joue a Call of duty j’adore , malheureusement pas moyen de paramêtrer le casque via un logiciel mais reste que le rendue sonore est vraiment très bon pour ce prix et même meilleur que certain casque a 400$
Sans fil: Connection solide avec le dongle sans déconnection ou coupure ou latence vraiment un très bon sans fil , autonomie de la batterie de 15h voir 12h … un peu courte ,mais assez pour une longue session de jeu , Astro pourrait mettre ce masque a niveau avec une meilleur batterie cela pourrait être très interessant
En résumé vous cherchez un très bon casque sans fil pour moin de 200$ je recommande Fortement Astro a20 pour son confort , micro , niveau sonore et sa connection sans fil fiable !
et je vous recommandes également pour 100$ le meilleur casque sans fil Xbox avec une connection solide avec le dongle usb le sous estimé Lucidsound LS50X avec connection Bluetooth également et un excellent son , bon confort , excellent micro a perche et un 2émes micro intégré au casque , pour 100$ vous optenez un casque niveau premium , pour le prix il est simplement impossible a battre je vous le garantie !

Do not get this headset!!! Although the ear part and sound is great the mic and connection to the Xbox is garbage. We have had it three weeks and if it gets a low battery or you turn the headset off it fails to want to reconnect the next time you use it. It takes forever like 45 mins of messing with it to get to to connect. Not only that the mic sound is crackly and your friends can’t hear you half the time. We are a household of gamers with all sorts of systems. I don’t like how my kid can’t hear us with the turtle beach set on as it’s leather but could hear us with this set. Only issue is the connection of this headset to Xbox and the mic. I definitely would save your money like other reviews and not get this set. I wish I had listened to the reviews. I thought maybe because we are gamers we would not have issues with connection. I was wrong!! To return this item they give you 3 days and are really picky about returning this item so be aware of that.

I have 2 Xbox consoles, one is in my bedroom and the other one is in the living room and I was tired of switching my headset from console to console.
I looked up other headsets and eventually decided to buy the same headset because I was so happy with the Astro quality of headsets.
They’re very well made and sound great too. They super comfortable and I’ve even fallen asleep with mine on.
Of course with any headset when it’s brand new, it will be tighter fitting in the beginning and might squeeze a bit on your head, so adjust it to be a little more on the loose side when you first start using it, but with a little time, they’ll feel like part of your head.
It’s so comfortable that I don’t just use it when gaming, I also wear mine all over my apartment and will even wash dishes or do other chores around my house while I chat with my friends.
The range of the wireless signal is very nice but if you want, you can also use a long extender cord to increase the range even more, which is what I’ve done so that I can even walk outside a little bit with my headset not losing signal.

Why Microsoft doesn’t support native Bluetooth is beyond me. I own a bunch of BT headsets so it’s really annoying to have another for my Xbox. But that’s a Microsoft issue not an Astro one.
I didn’t want to drop too much money on a headset, but since it’s strictly for gaming I didn’t care about good audio quality for music. The A20 hits the mark on that.
This would easily be a 3 star review but it’s priced so well I went with 4. Sound quality for gaming is good enough, comfort is good enough, and battery life is good enough. But the value is high.
My biggest complaint is the headset has a USB-C charging port but will NOT charge off of a USB-C port. It will only charge in a USB-A port. That makes no sense.
Like most other Xbox headsets it has its own USB dongle which I’ve found I can move to some interesting random devices and have it work. Again that’s not Astros fault. The volume could stand to go louder as well but it’s good enough for gaming.
Overall it’s a great Xbox headset at the price point it’s at. The quality is what I’ve always expected from Astro.

First, the battery life was amazing! I play games every day, or at least watch a video, and they last so long, I don’t have to charge them as often. I charge them about once every three days with daily use. Approximately 2-3 hours a day. The comfort is the best! While wearing them for long periods of time, the headphones don’t make my ears feel hot. The headphones do feel fragile, but are very flexible. I keep them on my monitor when not in use. The sound quality and microphone are not the best, but are VERY VERY good. My friends don’t complain about the sound quality at all!
