Love this case for my switch 2. Super durable. Great quality. Awesome price. My favorite feature is how the sides snap on. A lot of cases are 3 separate pieces and if you drop your switch the joycons will go flying. Not with this case. It will hold everything in tight and safe. Another nice feature is that it’s dockable so you don’t have to take the switch out of the case to put in the dock. Not many cases have that feature. Highly recommend.

Excellent case Great Quality and I can easily dock my Switch 2 with the case installed. I like how the controller covers have a hinge and bend back. This allows for easy removal and adds strength and does not allow the controller to separate from the unit by accident. Great price as well and feel and quality.

Exactly everything that I had hoped for!! A thick hard backed case that offers protection from drops AND a more comfortable grip with the handheld option. Fits perfectly in the dock while in the case AND charges! The joycons are fully protected AND easily removed by a simple manipulation of the case. BEST CASE EVER!!

I’ll be using this grip for a few more months while I save up for the model that better fits my long-term needs. This isn’t a paid ad or a plug for any brand—just my experience. Personally, I’ve found Satisfye products work better for my hands, but they’re pricier and bring more to the table for how I play. That said, this grip absolutely gets the job done for now, and it should hold me over for at least 5–7 months.
Here’s what I like: the folding support arms behind the Joy-Cons are surprisingly solid. I was nervous they’d flip off during installation, but they’ve locked in tight and haven’t budged. The power button cover is a standout—tactile, responsive, and easier to press than the native one. The cutouts are exact, and even my wide headphone jack fits, though my angled one doesn’t—but I knew that might be the case before buying. Cooling vents and speaker output remain unobstructed, and the clear window on the back? That thing adds personality. It breaks the flatness of the rear logo area and actually makes it pop more.
What I’m not thrilled about: the textured grip on the back. It’s not quite sandpaper—but it’s getting there—and unfortunately, it adds almost no actual grip value for my hand size or grip style. Even lying flat, the material does little to prevent sliding. I tried alternate hand positions to test it, but it felt grainy and awkward. Also, the grip itself feels small compared to what I’m used to from the OLED Satisfye, especially in how it affects thumb-to-joystick comfort. It’s usable, just not natural for extended sessions.
Two concerns that don’t cost a star—but could matter:
1) I applied my screen protector *after* installing the case, and it fits perfectly between the clasps. But I suspect if I had installed the protector first, it could’ve interfered with the case’s fit. Just a heads-up.
2) The volume buttons are… not great. They’re clunky, overly responsive, and don’t match the smooth execution of the power button. Too often they register multiple clicks, and honestly, this is enough to dock it a full star.
Some highlights worth repeating: the clips are fantastic—true to their “no flex” claim. The fold-out arms even elevate the system off the ground, letting you detach and reconnect Joy-Cons without fuss. While the shoulder buttons aren’t protected, I knew that going in. Even in a minor drop scenario, I trust the rest of the case to take the hit, though I won’t be testing that anytime soon.
If I could suggest an improvement, it’d be a follow-up model with larger or swappable grips. The folding design is brilliant, and just a little more size or ergonomic shape could take it to the next level.
A potential long-term worry: the clip-on design wraps *over* the Joy-Cons, and although it hasn’t shown signs of scratching yet, it rubs directly against them every time. If wear ever appears, I’ll update the review accordingly.
All in all, this is a solid product. It’s not perfect, but it works. The power button, hinge-brace, and that rear logo cutout are standout touches. If you’ve got larger hands like I do, you may want to consider other options, but for smaller hands or light-use players, this grip might be just right.
And of course, as advertised, no docking while in this case. If you missed that to this point, know it now. No docking with this product.
It may not be unhinged—but depending on your care habits, it could still give you pause. Cheers!

I’m actually really impressed with the functionality of this case. Adds the perfect amount of grip to the joy cons and makes playing as a hand held much more comfortable. Fits in the dock perfectly and is probably slim enough that it would fit inside of a travel case as well.

This case nails the balance between protection and usability. The fit is precise, and the magnetic Joy-Con compatibility means I can snap controllers on and off without fighting the shell. It’s dockable without disassembly, which is a huge win—no bending, no wear on the console.
The build feels solid—military-grade protection without the bulk. I’ve tossed it in bags, dropped it once (oops), and it held up without a scratch. The grip texture helps during longer play sessions, and the button access is clean and responsive.
If you’re looking for a Switch 2 case that actually respects your workflow—gaming, docking, travel—this one’s worth it. No gimmicks, just smart design.

This is actually a great quality case. Its sturdy, the grips on the back make it way more ergonomic than just playing the switch bare, AND ITS DOCKABLE. I dont even have to press down for it to dock. Others have had issues with it being defective or the mold not being formed correctly and scratching their switch, but mine was fine. My switch has no scratches from the case. So I say just look out for that. There are only two flaws (kind of). It’s so sturdy that you’ll feel like you’re putting to much pressure on the joycons when flipping the handles back to access them. But I’ve seen videos of people actually trying to break the joycons, and even then they won’t break, so it’ll be fine with this case. Second is there’s no access to the kick stand, but its obvious from the pictures, so that wasn’t a surprise to me. One more thing, it’ll also fit in a carrying case, depending on how much space it has inside.
Pros:
-Thick and sturdy
-Easily Dockable
-Access to joycons (even when docked)
-Ergonomic
-Fits in some carrying cases
Cons:
-No kickstand access
-Extra pressure on Joycons when flipping case back
-Possibly getting a defective case that will scratch your switch

This case adds a bit of bulk but it makes holding and playing so much more comfortable that I find myself putting it right back on when if I take it off because I usually hate putting any device in a case. The material quality is good and doesn’t have that cheap plastic feel. It works with the dock the system comes with! So no taking off or putting back on and its slim enough that I was able to also put a screen protector on my system screen and it work with the docking station too. Definitely worth the price.
