I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW 6X4 YOGA MAT!! I received it yesterday 4/11/25 and I immediately opened it up. Packaging wasn’t great due to minor cuts/breaks in the box it came in, BUT my yoga mat was thankfully intact! Once I opened it it came in a yoga mat bag, and it was wrapped in clear plastic as well. I laid the mat on my floor to air it out and straighten it as much as possible. It has a SLIGHT plastic-y smell but nothing crazy and it is what it is. Once you air it out and begin to use it daily, that will go away. Anyhow, it checked ALL THE BOXES FOR ME! Today(4/12/25) was my first day to use it.
1. Thickness is super great! It is 1/2 an inch as advertised.
2. Amazing Grip/Trac. When jumping, and all types of bare foot, standing exercises, NO SLINDING! When doing floor exercises like; yoga poses, etc SUPER hand and feet grip(not once did I slip and slid).
3. I have very sensitive elbow and knee skin that I need a soft and cushion-y and comfortable type of material and I NEVER felt pain/harsh chaffing on my skin while doing any sort of exercise position where my knees or elbows were used.
4. Mat does NOT SLIDE AT ALL. I have wood floors and an area rug. It only slightly moved because I was doing rotation jumps and since my mat is half on the floor and half on the area rug(that’s the only reason it moved a bit).
I am 4″11 and for me it is a great size. The advertised pics do not do it justice because it looks bigger than it is. I made sure to measure it with a measuring tape before buying to kind of imaging how big it would be.
To get a better idea, It is 2 regular size yoga mats in one.
It took me about 3 months to decide to order this one. I had been comparing prices, reviews, material, and thickness and I finally found it. I will not be using shoes with mine because I want to take carr of it as much as possible.

Thick, sturdy and comfortable to workout on. The size I bought allows entire workout without falling off the edges.

Large and thick exercise mat is the perfect size for HIT workouts because it has the room for left-right and forward-back movements. The 1/2″ thickness provides great cushioning on my cement floor and it is not the slightest bit slippery. It also rolls back up pretty easily and comes with elastics and a nylon storage bag. Five stars!

I stalked this yoga mat online for a while and I’m so glad that I finally bought it. It is thick and wide and the color is just as pictured. I haven’t noticed any chemical smell from the plastic. The only downside is that the thickness of the mat does it make it hard to roll up, which isn’t a problem for me since I keep it out at all times to encourage me to stretch every day.
