These seem nice and tight (not floppy or easy to collapse once extended), but they are flimsier than my old ones. Time will tell how long they will last.

Intro:
I needed a lot of backscratchers because everyone kept taking mine (I bought it from CVS pharmacy for $3) and then it magically got lost. So I bought one for each person in the house and took a chance on such a cheap price for 8 back scratchers.
Pros:
*I am so glad I bought these they are soooo scratchy but the ends are blunt which throws me off. How can a blunt end have so satisfyingly scratchy results? Who knows and who cares lol. It satisfies my itches without cutting my skin.
* It extends and reaches the middle of my back and upper back and lower back and all the parts I can’t reach with my hand..or a hanger lol.
*I can extend to all the way out and scratch vigorously and it doesn’t move so it works perfectly.
*It is strong- Here is a tips after spending 1 1/2 hours researching all the back scratches on Amazon I believe the bottom part of the cut-out heart in the middle of the palm and where it attached to the wand portion has to be thick in order to withstand pressure from pushing against your skin. Try looking at others on here that say they keep breaking you will notice the metal in that area is thin so it can only take so much pressure before it snaps.
* The handle is a soft plastic (I can scratch it and it won’t move as a jelly handle would but it is not completely hard) but it is really glued on there because I tried pulling on it and it did not come off easily.
* It came with a nice bag which I kept along with the pink handled one the others were given to my household and sister so they would stop taking mine.
*Color coding is awesome because anyone with kids knows the arguing that comes along with a child who uses another item. I now know whos back scratcher is whos and I know if they have mine.
Cons:
* I have noticed that the ends of the blunt claws (the part that scratches) has turned brass/bronze colored (My skin turns silver metals brass or bronze colored and then produces a rash). I have not had any reactions as of yet but if I do get any kind I will update my remove because that is worthy of removing stars for others who might also have a reaction to it.
Conclusion:
I would buy this again if they get lost and from personal misuse (trying to know the cereal box off the top of the fridge or something). They have been able to handle daily use and the color coding keeps everyone happy and arguing over whos is whos at bay. I might actually might them as Christmas gifts as others suggested.

I bought a backscratcher like this at CVS three years ago for $1.99, and wanted to have more around the house to place in different rooms, as well as to give one to each family member., so I did a google search, I was SO tickled with glee when I found these! 😁
Not all telescoping backscratchers are worthy of reverence & exaltation. Some don’t provide a satisfying scratch, with their dull, rounded tips, while others are TOO pointed, like little daggers, blunted just enough to avoid piercing the flesh. THIS is the Goldilocks version, where you hit that sweet spot of eliminating that itch, without the excessive sharpness.I think the one from CVS is of slightly better quality, but if you’re one to take care of your things, I don’t see why this wouldn’t remain good as new for many, many years.
This entire pack costs less than a large drink at Starbucks, or a fast food combo meal, yet the joy, usefulness, and satisfaction they bring can potentially last a lifetime. Especially with all the inflation & shrinkflation we’re experiencing, this is the perfect frugal gift that’ll scratch that itch for a stocking stuffer people of all ages & affiliations can appreciate. 🙏 🥰
