Lets start with the good – These are really comfortable from the start. I have had them so far about a week and a half and have done only light walking – so I will return to update the review later on. Things to note – they come with an extra pair of laces which is nice because finidng matching laces for hiking boots is always difficult.
They are comfortable, though I lace only on the lower hooks – the upper one is more restrictive and presses on the ankles. I will use the upper ones though when we go on our upcoming hiking trip where the increased ankle support will be usefuel. The tongue could have been made another half inch longer to be perfect. It goes just up to the the lace line, so sometimes if laced to the top, the laces can pop over the top of the tongue. The shoes are flexable to start, but a short wear in period would be recommended before serious hiking. There is ample toe wiggle room – which for me is a must. There is nice arch support as well. Some people have reported need for a different insole, though for now I don’t see the need (based on reviews, I purchased one and am keeping it on hand incase need comes up with the serious hiking. These are priced at a level that even if they wear out in two or three years, I could buy 4 paris for the price of the more fancy brands, and for those of you not doing super long high weight hiking – no real reason to spend the extra money. Water – so far been through a few rainy days and puddles – haven’t gotten wet. Temp – the shoes are a bit warm in the Cincinnati spring. I suspect when we get to the summer and desert – the shoes may feel hot. Will have to see. Be back with more after more serious hiking and weather.

These boots are a steal at this price. Fit is perfect to my size (10.5) with enough room for a thicker sock. I’ve only worn them for a few days, so can’t comment on longevity, but construction looks top notch and flawless and just as good as name brand boots at 3x the cost or more, so I don’t anticipate them wearing out any time soon. I read some reviews that the insoles were terrible; not true at all, they’re comfortable and pretty cushy compared many boots/shoes I’ve bought, I may buy some upgraded insoles at some point but not necessary at this point. I also read people complaining about longevity when using for work, but these aren’t work boots, they’re meant to be “mild trail hikers/outdoor activity” boots not work boots slogging around in the mud all day long. Very nice “upgraded” laces are the perfect length, and they’ve stayed tied all day long so far. Eyelets all look very sturdy and the tongue fits just right not too long or fat like a lot of boots. I still can’t believe they were less than $50 on sale. Ridiculous!

Me los puse 4 veces y se despegaron de las orillas, muy pero muy mala calidad para el precio, como puedo anexar las fotos y ademas q en la 1ra lluvia se les metio el agua.

It’s difficult for me to find shoes that fit comfortably. The extra width and arch support makes these a perfect width, and leaves plenty of room in the toe area. I wear these on a casual basis, so expect them to last a very long time. They’re comfortable, easy to get on and off and soles appear durable. I’ve paid twice the price for boots of lesser quality. Since I don’t hike, I can’t speak for the durability, though I do wear them quite a bit and see no noticable wear. Very pleased!

Best shoe ever!! I have purchase hiking boots from some expensive mfg. They generally last no longer and are of no better quality than NORTIV 8 boots. I hike appox. 75-80 miles a week and these boots are comfortable, waterproof and extremely serviceable. Check my account, I’ve purchased 7 pairs in the last 6 months to insure I have a pair at every one of my trails. GREAT, GREAT value!!

I bought these for a weekend hiking trip to Yosemite last weekend. I wasn’t too sure these shoes would work for me in terms of size and wearability.
First off, these were very comfortable right out of the box. The cushion was very comfortable for me as I wore them around the house first before taking them on my trip.
Out on the hiking trail, these held up very well. These were absolutely very comfortable for my feet and for being out on the trails all day long, I thoroughly loved these. I did not have any slippage on any rocks or loose sand on the rocks as the soles are the vibrant type soles and were amazingly strong soles.
I’m hard on my feet in my regular day job and wear tactical style boots just about every day. These shoes were definitely a break from the norm of what I wear.
So, while out on the trails, these were definitely comfortable. I wear an 8.5M in all my shoes and boots and the fit and size were spot on.
For those wondering, I’ve read alot of the reviews of these shoes and I read how people use these for work. Let me point this out…these are NOT work shoes or boots. These are made to be out on trails and to be worn in that manner.
If you’re the person who works say at Costco, I would not recommend wearing these there. If you work in a construction environment, these are not for that.
These are strictly for being out in the dirt trails and would likely last a good year or more if taken care of properly and worn properly.
But each to their own. I really Ike these and would consider getting another pair and maybe a different color.
Photos are from new out of the box, to when I returned home. Barely to no wear on them after 2.5 days of hiking. I did not get them wet in any way shape or form so I do not know their water durability.

Just got these today. I was just going to try them on for fitting purposes and I’m still wearing them! What a great value, fit, look and so lightweight and comfortable. I do security for a living and I’m on my feet all day. This is by far the best work shoe I have ever worn.

Sehr bequeme und wasserabweisende Schuhe, habe die fast den ganzen Winter getragen, bin zufrieden. Würde noch mal kaufen.
