I bought this speaker for a backyard tailgate party and it worked out perfectly. At first, I was worried it wasn’t going to be loud enough. But after tweaking some settings on my phone and Spotify, plugging it into the wall (instead of relying on the battery), and using the aux cord, it was BLASTING. It got so loud it was echoing through the neighborhood and we actually had to turn it down!
We had over 60 people in the backyard, all talking and yelling, and the music still carried really well. The sound quality was solid for the price, and it’s exactly what I needed for a big party.

We used the speaker for a recent get-together with around 30 people, and it did not disappoint. The karaoke features and mic input were a big hit, and the party lights added a fun touch. It’s super easy to use, and the sound quality—especially the deep bass—is impressive for its size.
One thing I really appreciated is the audio-in and audio-out options. If you have a DJ setup, it’s super convenient to connect the speaker directly to your deck—no hassle at all. Bluetooth connection took a bit longer than expected to pair, but nothing too bad. Once connected, it worked smoothly the whole night.
Great buy for anyone looking for a solid party speaker with versatility!

It sounds good but given the size of 2 8 inch subs it’s less than expected. Ours also would not charge. Only used it once. The second time we pulled it out it turned off with a few minutes and wouldn’t stay on even when plugged in. The charge meter showed it was working then would just go blank and it powered off. If purchased BUY THE WARRANTY or avoid it all together. And yes you can use a microphone but it is not included. People should read the product description before complaining about this part.

The speaker is nice and big but for the size it barely gets loud. The bass is ok not hard but it’s not something I care about. The lights are cool but the white strobe light is too much. I give this 3 because I expected it louder and it doesn’t come with the mic.

For the price, this thing is amazing! Let me cite pros and cons:
Con – On battery, the bass is not very good and overall volume is not very loud. However, if you have to run on battery for a small group, it is definitely “loud enough” for a group. Such as background music for an outdoor dinner party, or cocktail party.
Pro- Plugged in, the power and bass is impressive! MUCH Better than I expected. Connected it to my laptop for karaoke and it is definitely plenty loud for any house party, or plugged in, loud enough for any backyard party!
ALSO – the lights that are included are pretty cool.
And, it has a variety of input connectors for just about any application.
Again, in this price range, it is a hit!

Deleted Review from 2/1/2022: Stereo is a lot bigger and taller than I thought it would be! But it’s great. I work in a factory and it’s volume can override all the running equipment even in such an echoy gigantic room, but only in the direction of the speakers. Behind the speaker, is definately loud, but not nearly as the front (kinda obvious ik). Has the same music quality as my lil portable JBL Charge 4, but ofc gets much much louder than it. It’s hard to maintain music quality the bigger/louder a speaker is, so this stereo is a big achievement in-and-of-itself!!! My coworkers RAVE about it more than me… Quirks: Has a bass and treble knob setting. Needs to be placed on a table or chair or loft area or on its back, bc the bass stereo/beat is in the bottom speaker. Sometimes it’s jaring to listen to, and it sounds uneven when the speaker is just sitting on the floor. This is especially noticable when ppl have the bass knob set to max (the treble knob is set anywhere from halfway to max). Does NOT have the Phillips Dynamic Bass Boost feature, so it’s missing the ummffph I’m used to when it comes to Phillips speakers/stereos. I suppose an equalizer app would help with this issue. Does NOT have a button to select audio input. Bluetooth works great! But aux is annoying as crap. Gotta disconnect the Bluetooth, plug the aux cable in-and-out until the audio input finally switches – it’s honestly better to turn off the speaker, add no Bluetooth, and then plug in the aux cable (might have to fiddle with it still). All-in-all, if you want loud and good quality music, then this is a great speaker (with quirks)!!! Edit: This is definitely worth $260. I got it when it first came out for $225. I’ve seen it on sale for $199. But yea, I can see it on sale/priced at $360 and it’d still be worth it.

I have first bought he faimos JBL! Quality of the sound is definitely good, However way too much bass and beats in the walls. It is heavily shaking everything specially if you leave in an apartment, like I do.
Instead Phillips TAX5206 is much lower power -160 instead 250 – if you have a party is going to bother- but as for karaoke in small apartments and houses is great! Sound for Phillips is greatly more balanced & just enough bass to sound good and clear, crisp and no hit in the walls! LOVE it!

Delivers the sound and volume I expected, making it perfect for sporting events and workout sessions. The built-in wheels and handle make it easy to move around, and it provides more than enough volume and clarity for our needs. Overall, we’ve really enjoyed using it.
