I have several hi-fi systems in my house, consisting of Denon high-powered amps, Yamaha class AB amplifiers, Klipsch rp8000f ii speakers, polk reserve speakers and even a wiim system. I’ve heard the La scalas and other heritage speakers so I’m not someone who has never heard good audio. The reason I stayed all that is because this is a pretty damn good Bluetooth player. Keep in mind what it is, it is a Bluetooth player that is meant for a small room or kitchen. For what it does, it does extremely well. Sound as clean crisp with some bass punch to it.
Besides the sound of it, the aesthetics are beautiful. It truly looks like it belongs in my kitchen. For what it is, I love it. If I want hi-fi audio, I’ll go listen to my tower speakers hooked up to my big amps. If I want great sound in the kitchen while I’m cooking then I will listen to this.

This is the best sounding Bluetooth speaker I have found. I’ve been through JBL and Harmon Kardon and this speaker is awesome! With plenty of volume and power for extremely deep bass! It fills the my whole apartment with sound love love love it!

Klipsch is DEAD. Theyve lost it. Riding the name and former glory. 3rd Klipsch item Ive purchased in 2 mos. Returned all but the tiny Austin bt spkr. As for THIS THING? NO. I went back to Bose. Worth the xtra $ and the sound is unrivaled.

This device delivers excellent sound and I highly recommend it. I connected it via Bluetooth and with an optical cable. With the latter, the sound seemed overly digital to me. Over Bluetooth it produces rich bass. I didn’t notice any latency when connected to the TV. I initially purchased its smaller sibling, which is also very good.

This one is a BOOMER!!! Sound on this speaker is unrivaled. For a drummer who wants to feel the music in his chest, this is the perfect beast. From Elvis to Anthrax, Mose Allison to Devin Townsend…this speaker delivers gorgeous, precise, full bodied sound. A true beast with plenty of punch. Bass is strong but can be easily be controlled with the presets, bass and treble controls. The retro look is awesome, very classy.
Not bothering me, but may affect other buyers: The online controls through the APP are minimal. Since I am always playing an EQ’ed source (through my phone or computer) it doesn’t matter to me. That may be a problem for others. And you are not going to get this speaker to be very quiet. Again, you can tweak it from your source player, but this box is robust and meant to be heard.

I’ve been searching far and wide for the perfect home speaker for our den. I’ve tried speakers that cost two to four times as much and have always been disappointed. Either too bright, not enough bass, empty, hollow, weak, you name it. I tried the JBL Authentics 500, Marshall Woburn III, KEF LSX II LT, and Cambridge Audio Evo One. In all fairness, the Cambridge Audio Evo One was obviously better than The Three, but it also costs $1500, and I couldn’t justify it. Honestly, I believe The Three is 90% of the Evo One for less than 1/4 of the price.
I have an original Klipsch The One and have always been very impressed with the amount and quality of sound that comes out of such a small box. So I thought I would give it’s big brother a try and I was able to get The Three Plus used/like new for a great price.
My search is over! This speaker far exceeds my expectations and destroys most other similar speakers that cost much more. Very full range, warm sound, but not weak in the mid’s or high’s at all. It’s also very smooth and not shrill or harsh, like many Klipsch speakers (horn loaded). It can also effortlessly get very loud with near wall shaking bass. A subwoofer is NOT required, which is something I was looking for.
Can’t be more pleased with this thing, I’ve been searching for the right speaker for months.
My only complaint is that it doesn’t have native Airplay2/network support. Apparently the USB port can power a Wiim Mini and that can be plugged into the RCA ports or optical port to add that functionality. I would suspect that the Wiim has a better DAC than The Three, so RCA is probably the way to go. It honestly doesn’t need it unless you are hyper critical of your music purity.

The build and sound quality is remarkable. The array of connection options is convenient; I primarily connect via bluetooth and have had no issues with connecting various devices. The two reasons i haven’t given this a 5 star review is volume control and the the Klipsch Connect app.. This doesn’t appear to be the best speaker for quieter, background listening. It gets loud quickly at very low volume (1-3) and is indeed bass rich. This can be controlled somewhat with the equalizer feature on the app., but more nuanced control over volume would be an enhancement. The app itself is somewhat basic and a bit sluggish but functions well enough to control the unit. Overall, I have been satisfied with this speaker as I was mostly looking for sound quality and not concerned about portability. I would recommend checking it out if you are looking for high quality sound in a relatively compact design.
