Do not expose to pressurized water, or liquids other than fresh water. Do not attempt to charge a wet phone. Not waterproof.

After owning this phone for 3 months, I’m very glad I bought this phone. Zero regrets. I would choose it again. Fast and snappy performance. Plenty of memory (RAM), nice fast processor, games play very smoothly. There’s plenty of storage (256 GB), good long battery life, fast battery charging, wireless battery charging, fast and accurate fingerprint reader, which surprisingly never fails. This phone has been a big quality of life upgrade from my previous phone from Samsung.
Downsides: (1) Doesn’t have a slot for microSD card, which is unfortunate, but the onboard 256 GB of memory hasn’t been filled up; (2) No wired headphone jack; (3) Photo quality isn’t the best compared to other flagship phones (especially when zoomed all the way in, looks more digital and smeared compared to photos from other phones), but when zoomed out, looks sharp and nice; (4) Lack of Samsung apps (which I was used to), but I have to say the alternatives are more than satisfactory. I FAR prefer the free Edison mail app to the Samsung mail app, I am happy using Proton Calendar (the widget is outstanding), etc. The default Moto Contacts app was janky, so I switched to Fossify Contacts and that works great; (5) You get two major OS version updates, so that will be the bigger limitation down the line.
Overall, in my day-to-day use of this phone, it is fast and snappy and functions the way I’d like a phone to function (despite the minor flaws listed). I would buy it again with no hesitation and expect it to last years.
COMPARISON TO MOTO G STYLUS 2024: I also purchased the Moto G Stylus 2024 and was able to test both side-by-side and see how the two differ in practice. Both have similar features on paper in many areas, but the G Stylus 2024 has a stylus, headphone jack, MicroSD expansion port, etc.
Synopsis: On paper, I thought the G Stylus 2024 would be better but in practice I prefer the Moto Edge 2024. Overall, the Moto Edge 2024 is faster and smoother for some reason.
Despite the Moto G Stylus 2024 bonuses of having the headphone jack, Stylus and MicroSD expansion port (which are definitely bonuses), there are some strange quirks that aren’t as nice as the Moto Edge 2024. The Moto Edge 2024 feels snappier overall. Games seems faster on the Moto Edge 2024. The fingerprint reader seems better on the Moto Edge 2024. There are random weird things on the Moto G Stylus like when you add widgets to the home screen on the Moto G Stylus, you have to hold your finger on the screen for like 3x longer than normal to get the “add widget” screen to come up. There are janky things like that that I noticed in different areas, giving me an overall feeling of “Meh” (compared to the more-pleasant Edge 2024).
That said, if I didn’t have the Edge 2024, I would still be perfectly happy using the Moto G Stylus 2024. Motorola may not have all the bells and whistles that other flagship phones have, but they get you in the flagship ballpark at a fraction of the cost and your day-to-day experience using the phone is a happy one. 5-stars!

Working great.
Only one complaint.
Purchased to have the benefit of two SIMs.
Hard SIM was unlocked.
SoftSiM was not unlocked. Contacted retailer and carrier. Responsiveness was top notch. However, neither was able to unlock the soft SIM.
Kept it anywat because the price was great and I am loving it too much.

The phone transfered data/apps from samsung on it’s own with ease and works well with spectrum mobile when provided a physical SIM. It seems pretty easy to use and most of the layout seems android rather than motorola-specific. The desktop projection is very nice and functional, so far I’ve only used the track pad which has limitations but I imagine with a bluetooth keyboard/mouse it will function similar to a PC. With a case the curved screen edges are not too noticable. The only odd thing I find about it so far is that the only option for messaging is through google messaging.
For 300 dollars this seems like a good mid-level phone, I decided on motorola because other competitors only offer more extreme price points, either sub 200 dollar low end phones/specs, or over 500 dollars for their version of mid grade. At a 300 dollar price point for a new phone this is a great option.

I bought this phone to replace my Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE as the battery was at 68% health. With no local Xiaomi repair shops to replace the battery, I thought buying a new phone would be the solution. Enter the Moto Edge 2024. I owned three prior Motorola phones so I was familiar with the brand. Mine is the unlocked version with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage.
Design/Phone quality: This phone is sleek, comfortable to hold, and with a nice curved pOLED screen. The eco-leather back provides a nice grip but the form factor is reminiscent of my old LG Velvet. Very impressive. It also has an IP 68 dust and water resistance rating.
Performance: My 11 Lite had a SD 778 chip that has been a good mid-range processor for a while. The Moto Edge 2024 feels much faster. It’s almost flagship speed. I think this is an upgrade for anyone using anything else than a flagship phone. I have only streamed gaming to this phone but it multitasks very well without any hiccups..
Aligning with flagship features, the USB-C Port is 3.1 and compatible with Display port 1.4. So, it has a great desktop mode that connects to an exterior monitor if you really want to get everything out of this phone. While the storage speed is 2.2, it still feels fast enough.
Battery: This is why I upgraded the phone. I can get about 1.5 days on this battery. That said, I am a heavy user as I always keep the 5G running. I will update with just wi-fi daily usage as I’m sure that will increase battery life as well. I average about 10-11 hours of screen-on time each day with 25-30% remaining. This feels like an efficient use of the 5,000 mAh battery.
Display: The display is probably the most underrated part of this phone. The pOLED running up to 144Hz is insane. It’s also very bright and durable.
Photos: Photos are fine. Given sufficient light, images should come out detailed. I haven’t tried to shoot at night or in suboptimal situations less but it seems fine.
Video: Video is fine but only offers 4K at 30 fps, and 1080p at up to 60 fps on the rear camera. The front camera doesn’t offer 60 fps at any resolution but offers 4K. Still, smart stabilization is offered at both resolutions on both cameras.
Value: I missed the best deal at $249 but bought it at $299. For this price, this is a phenomenal deal! While it is not an inexpensive phone, the build quality, display, performance, and battery are all hallmarks of a more expensive phone. This is a great upgrade from a recent budget phone that is gerting long in the tooth. If you’re looking for something to feel fast without breaking the bank, the Moto Edge 2024 is it.
