This is a neat product and it works well once set up. The app is straightforward and setup was smooth, but it is worth noting that it only works on 2.4GHz WiFi, which could be an issue for some people depending on their network setup. Works well and audible alarm is very loud, as it should be. The app also works well so I am notified if a water leak is detected. The instructions are clear and well written. The receiver needs to be placed within 50 feet of your router and you connect it to your wifi through the app. The receiver is charged via USB and comes with a wall mounting bracket.

These wifi water leak detectors work really well, they where also very easy to to setup and I really like that these sensors work with the two apps that already have several devices connected to, they worl with the Tuya & SmartLife apps, there is a main hub that connects to your homes wifi signal, it does only work with 2.4GHz but I have the smart wifi 6 and it still connected fast and easy, the hub needs to be powered at all times and it comes with a USB power cord, the hub is also fairly small so it doesn’t take up much space and it can be mounted to the wall or just sat on a counter top or bookshelf, the 3 sensors come already paired to the hub so you just have to install 2 AAA batteries and they also throw in 6 AAA batteries, the sensors have 4 small metal dots on the bottom side that detect the water and they are very sensitive too, I put a small drop of water on my finger and then touched one of the sensors and the alarm went off immediately, the sensors will also work from a fairly decent distance from the hub, they do lose a lot of there range though if the signal has to pass through a bunch of walls, I put the sensors on the floor next to the hot water heater in my main house and one in my guest house, the hub is about 280 to 300ft or so from the sensor in my guest house and it still connected to the hub with no issues, one feature I really like is that the sensors and the hub both have very loud alarm and I mean Very loud, you can easily hear the alarms even if your outside of your house, but the app will also send a push notification to your cellphone if the sensors are triggered, the push notification is also pretty instant from the time the sensors and hub siren goes off, all in all I am very happy with the overall quality and performance of these wifi water leak detector and with the piece of mind they give me, well worth the price in my opinion.
