Not a good product. Works for a while, then around a month later I get false alerts about the pump “not working” which proves to be false. After resetting and calibrating it works for a few weeks and then I get alerts again. I suspect the software on the unit is poorly written. Recently it stopped reporting activity all together. I’m replacing this with a Level Sense instead.

Update 03-05-23
I purchased this after seeing it at the 2023 Consumers Electronic Show in Vegas. Now that I’ve had this installed for several weeks I find it a little buggy but overall an ok product and have raised my evaluation from my initial response. The WiFi reports that it’s lost connection but when I check, it’s on line, so that is possibly software or a poor radio given that I added a access point within 20 feet of the device. I used to receive constant false alerts of pump failure and sump flooding when upon physical inspection all things are normal. I have a very active sump well and Moen tech support suggested relocating the sensor to the least active area of the well away from the tile drain pipes, closer to the high water lever with clear view. That change eliminated almost all the false alerts. I still get one when there is a lot of water entering the well from the drain tile pipes. I’m skeptical that the water volumes pumped are accurate but that is minor. The product will report pump cycles and high water. I haven’t tested power outages yet to understand if that event is reported remotely or requires the home network to be powered by UPS for that function to report to the app. So in conclusion, I do recommend this product over the other products I’ve tried.
The good: The S2000ESUSA is good tool to report pump cycles and power outages. It also has a thoughtful high water sensor and audio alert. These features reported through the smartphone app lets you monitor from afar with data history make this product a win. I replaced a grid style sensor that fails each year with the high humidify and mineral buildup common to a sump well.
The medium: I can’t validate the pumping volumes but the cycles are accurate and useful to understand the pump activity.
The not so good: Either the radio is weak or the software that manages the radio constantly reports a lost connection. I have other WiFi devices in the area with no connection issues. None the less, I added another access point near the monitor and after a week I only received one alert vs several a day. So other than that shortcoming, the product works for me.

I recently purchased the Moen sump pump monitor and I am extremely satisfied with its performance. This product has proven to be a reliable and efficient solution for monitoring the functionality of my sump pump.
First and foremost, the installation process was a breeze. The instructions provided were clear and concise, allowing me to set up the monitor in a matter of minutes. The device itself is compact and sleek, blending seamlessly with my home decor.
One of the standout features of the Moen sump pump monitor is its ability to provide real-time alerts. This has given me peace of mind, knowing that I will be immediately notified if any issues arise with my sump pump. The monitor sends alerts to my smartphone, allowing me to stay informed even when I am away from home. This feature has proven to be invaluable, as it has prevented potential flooding and water damage.
The Moem app on my Android phone also offers a user-friendly interface, making it easy to navigate and customize settings. I appreciate the ability to set personalized alerts and adjust the sensitivity of the monitor to suit my specific needs. Additionally, the device provides detailed data and analytics, allowing me to track the performance of my sump pump over time.
I have had no issues with the monitor since its installation, and it continues to function flawlessly.
Overall, I highly recommend the Moen sump pump monitor to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient solution for monitoring their sump pump. Its easy installation, real-time alerts, user-friendly interface, and durability make it a top-notch product. With this monitor, you can have peace of mind knowing that your sump pump is functioning properly and that you will be promptly alerted in case of any issues.

I like Moen, I’m a builder and I always push Moen products. This is a cheaply made, smell it out of the box $1.25 worth of plastic and copper waste of money. Great it will provide historical data on usage, app is decent for setup, but it actually doesn’t work. Returning ASAP.

The app is impressive. The features and capabilities: The sump level, expulsion tracker, notifications, etc. HOWEVER, it doesn’t connect consistently to WiFi. We have a high-speed mesh network that runs throughout our basement and has no problem connecting without disruption ever to our other devices downstairs. The Moen sump monitor recently wouldn’t connect for more than a week. I was bombarded by calls, tests and emails about all sorts of failures. I had to log out, shut off, unplug and remove everything. I called customer service and they told me their servers were down and it would be 1 to 2 weeks before they got them running, and told me this was not an uncommon problem. Moen, you should halt service and recall and refund until you get your backend IT up to the task. Lots of promise here but you lost my trust and my business forever, Moen.

I really wanted the sump pump monitor to work. I have had positive experiences with the Moen Flo whole home shut-off and needed something to monitor the sump pump. I have had a few issues with it – it doesn’t detect when my 1/2 HP sump goes off – so I can’t get an understanding on how often the sump is working, and secondarily the water sensor (ultrasonic I think) keeps setting off false alarms that the pump has failed and there is a danger of imminent overflow – which results in texts and calls (this is good if it was reliable). I have contacted support twice and received a new unit so it’s not a hardware issue (unless it’s with the revision of hdw in the supply chain) and I have even thought it’s something to do with my pump do tried it at my parents to test – within a few hours I had 3 false alarms with the siren going off at 3am – I went downstairs and the levels and pump where all normal. I hope they solve the issues – it wasn’t a wifi issue I have an AP 8 feet away locked to the Moen MAC and can tell SNR is great. I hope they get this resolved – in the meantime I’m looking at other options like PumpSpy. For the record the support was great – I think the issue is with the hardware or maybe software and I just can’t trust the device.

I recommend the product to all my customers.
Wery good and reliable Manufacturer, good quality and price

When it works, it is a good solution, but unfortunately it doesn’t work very long. Any interruption in WiFi means you need to re-setup the unit from scratch, including removing the battery, scanning the QR code, entering your birthday, typing in your WiFi password, waiting, waiting and more waiting to connect, and about half the time it doesn’t setup correctly. You may have to do this 2-3 times each time it loses the connection. There’s an ethernet port but the Moen documentation says you can’t use it for network (future expansion or never finished the product?).
This is a critical product meant to provide alerts for an urgent situation, and given the flaky connectivity issues I can’t trust it. I’ll be throwing it away and replacing it with something reliable, which is a shame because if they would just spend some effort on the app it could be a good product.
