I am delighted with the LUXRITE 6-Pack BR30 LED Bulb! These bulbs have completely transformed the lighting in my living room and kitchen. Here’s why I love them:

Perfect Warm White Light: The 2700K warm white color temperature is just what I was looking for. It creates a cozy and inviting ambiance in both my living room and kitchen, making these spaces much more comfortable and enjoyable to be in.

Energy-Efficient and Cost-Effective: With each bulb being the equivalent of a 65W incandescent bulb but only consuming 8.5W of power, these LED bulbs are incredibly energy-efficient. They have already made a noticeable difference in my electricity bill, and I love knowing that I’m reducing my energy consumption and carbon footprint.

Updating this review, because I replaced the 4000K’s with the 3,000K bulbs and am now very happy with my purchase.

I thought that I needed lighting that was closer to white, so chose the 4000K’s. However when installed, they were very blue. Yes the light was clean and bright, but the color was bothersome for the rest of my family. We were quickly refunded (returned them to Amazon book store), and got the 3000K lights instead. The 3,000’s had a more golden tone to them, which was infinitely better.

After comparing several lights at different Kelvin temps, starting to believe that there is no light that is just a pure white. They all have some color tinge, and it’s all a matter of preference. I prefer to be on the warmer side of the spectrum.

Works well with dimmer. Bought large package to upgrade/replace previous generation LEDs. Best attributes:
1) More energy efficient
2) Better quality light
3) Nice 3500K color (for kitchen)
LEDs last so long, seemed like a good idea to replace after over 10 years!

The previous owners had darker yellow bulbs in our kitchen ceiling – after we replaced them with these you’d think it was a totally different room! These bulbs are very bright and put out a nice cool light – the cooler tones totally pop now!

I recently received my bill from our utility company almost fell over. So, I was on a mission to decrease my usage. Our kitchen has a LOT of ceiling pots with 65W bulbs. I thought I would start there. I replaced 13 bulbs and am hoping that this will make some difference in my bill (have other changes going on as well). I didn’t realize how much you need to know about light bulbs before purchasing a replacement. For LED bulbs, you need to take into consideration several factors; Kelvins (color; i.e., warm, cool, or daylight), Lumens (brightness equivalent), base size (typical incandescent bulb has an E26 base), and Watts (incandescent replacement watt converted to LED equivalent). A huge advantage to LED bulbs is that their lifespan is 10x an incandescent even though the cost is higher. Most LEDs are dimmable, BUT if you have a dimmer switch from your old incandescent bulbs, you will need to switch it out with an LED compatible switch unless it has on/off capability. Otherwise, the bulb will just dim to very low but will not shut off.

These bulbs fit the need perfectly. I got the 65 watt equivalent (650 Lumens), with the E26 size base which fit into my existing pots, a warm color with Kelvins of 2700. I am very happy with the replacement. Our electrician was surprised that they were LED because the look is identical and the light isn’t glaring. I am looking forward to the next utility bill to see the success ! Be sure to educate yourself on the bulbs you need before you buy.
