I switched to this model mostly because of the remote. I have the unit sitting on the floor. A different model worked fine BUT had no remote and the touch screen was at the very bottom. Fine for table top but not if using it on the floor. This model has a simple to use remote plus the screen controls are at the top. Works much better for me. Directions are lacking but it is fairly easy to figure out. The plastic cup in the top fill area I assume was just for shipping? It seems totally unnecessary? Again directions would have been helpful. You have 2hr, 4hr, 8hr choices but if you go one click further you get ‘constantly on’ setting. Again directions would have been helpful. So far I have not used the auto shut off when out of water. Hopefully it does work as I am using the constantly on setting. Mist levels are quite strong. Low or medium are likely the only I will need. It has an easy to use spray outlet enabling you to change the direction which is handy. I use the fill ‘door’ on the top when it needs water. There is an orange tab to warn you when the tank is nearly fill. It is handy. I might invest in some of the floating filter ‘fish’ that treats the water as well as warning you to not overfill. Unit is quiet on low and medium mist settings. Cord is long enough but runs from the top so it is visible. Possibly a trip hazard if you have pets? Description notes 60 hours? I have no idea where that comes from? Even at low mist level I can not imagine it going much beyond 24 hours if even that long. Do I like it… yes. Biggest advantages to me are the remote and the large fill from the top door. BTW You can turn off the blue light and the screen if you desire. Thumbs up… so far.

We bought two of these units to replace a different brand that became very noisy after just a few months of use.
These Paris Rhone units are very quiet and easy to clean. I really like the design. There is very little chance of leakage that seems to plague units where the water reservoir sits on top of the mist creating section. Easy to fill either with a pitcher or turning off the unit and carrying it to the tap. I find the handle very sturdy for carrying.
The unit does hold 6L of water. However, when the automatic shutoff turns off the unit for low water level, there is still 0.7L in the bottom of the tank. Usable capacity is thus about 5.3L. For us that lasts about a day on the high setting.
We typically run the unit in the master bedroom on high to raise humidity level to about 40%. Living in the northeast USA, the heat coming on does knock that level down. The humidity level goes back up during periods when the heating thermostat is set lower. It is nice to have the humidity for sleeping.
Our other unit is in our open floor plan main floor. It is a larger space. The unit running on high gets humidity level to about 35% during periods when the thermostat is set low. During the day in this larger space humidity falls to about 24%. Still, this is much better than very low humidity level we typically have had.
All-in-all, very pleased with the two units and hope they continue to run well.

Very quiet humidifier that goes for about 25 hours at max output. Top fill lid has a simple locking mechanism that can be unlocked with one hand easily. Aroma input is at the top-backside of the unit. Absolutely no water droplets anywhere. Got this at $45 after taxes. Great for the price. Regular price is still decent because the quality is top-notch. Been using it non-stop for almost 3 days. The blue light is located inside the water metre and is not bright. It will help you see how much water is left.

Every aspect of this humidifier is so well designed! Things that stand out for me –
1. The handles and top fill design make it easy to carry the unit to the sink to fill up.
2. External DC power supply vastly reduces the risk of electric shock or fire.
3. The remote buttons have a satisfying tactile click. All controls are accessible from the remote, including lights and timer function.
4. A deceptively large tank. The unit is smaller than I expected from the pictures and has a multi-day run time.
I do wish it had a humidity level setting instead of just a low-medium-high mist level, but it’s easy enough to set the unit to turn off after a few hours. It works well enough, and I’d happily recommend this product.

It has a 2,4,8 hour timer and low medium high mist. There is a directional device so it shoots in a particularl direction. Overall a good humidifier.
You have to use distilled water or boiled water.

Does not work for large bedroom as described. We moved this to a smaller bedroom and it works ok in there. Does not work with smart plugs (will turn off, but not on).

We have a mid size master bedroom and we were feeling a bit of suffocation due to less ventilation. Absolutely love this purchase. It is way more than we expected as we have noticed significant difference in air quality in our room since we started using it. It is of good quality, and not something you want to hide when guests are over. Looks good on display as well. The volume of mist as well as water tank capacity is great and any essential oil does the job.
Comes with a remote so you can enjoy the coziness in your bed and use the timer feature to turn it off automatically. Extremely satisfied, definitely recommend!

I this to add humidity during the winter. It does well for my condo. If I run on high, I can keep the humidity up. If I turn it down, I can keep my level fairly even. There was not much to get it started and very easy to fill. No need to stop it while filling and no need to try and flip a reservoir and try not to spill water. I enjoy the light, but almost wish there was color rotation or other options. It is blue for water present and working, red for empty and off if the unit is off. On high, I only need to fill once a day…mid level I fill a day and half to every 2 days. The unit also seemed easy to clean. Best one I have come across. ****this is a humidifier not an oil diffuser. It does state not to add oil****

Perfect size for our son’s bedroom. The feature we really wanted was to be able to put essential oils in and this model has a dedicated drawer with sponge to put the oil in which is convenient and neat!
It’s quiet and puts out a good amount of moisture for a medium sized bedroom. The design is very different from any other ones I’ve seen veforem. You lift the humidifier out of a bucket which makes it very easy to fill. No dripping or leaking like our old humidifier every time you fill it! Definitely recommend!
