Very good and very quiet no noise at all. Fairly easy to clean compared to my last one. I’ve been using for a long time and felt it was time to write a review. No problems and I use it every night winter and summer due to dry air. Gives plenty of moisture in the room. I would definitely recommend for parents for your little ones.

I love this humidifier. Use distilled water and it’s so easy to clean. In the past I used filtered tap water and always ended up with nasty deposits. Literally ran this for three weeks without cleaning and it was spotless inside. Runs perfectly and is super quiet. I love the nightlight and color options too.

I’m going to review/compare 2 models the Homvana H101 and the Homvana H102 as I have both. I’ve had the H101 about a week and the H102 I’ve had for 5 months.

Filling: Both fill from the top, the H101 you remove the nozzle cap and you can fill it quickly without turning it off, you can also remove the tank from the base to fill as well. The H102 has a top top-up sort of port where you can add water slowly or about 1 cup at a time, or you can turn off the unit lift the controls off the tank to have access to fill the tank quickly.

Humidity features: Both work off the same method as cool mist. The H101 has a Li and HI setting that you hit the power button to cycle through. The H102 The power button is it’s own thing and there’s a button to cycle between 3 levels. The H102 also shows you the current humidity level and has an auto feature that will shut off and on to maintain that level.

Noise: Both emit barely a light hum, I’m in an office environment and I can’t hear them at all unless I stick my ear to them.

Lighting: Both have the same lighting feature, however the H102 illuminates from the top and H101 from the bottom, if appearance matters to you the lighting from the bottom gives it a more consistent and fuller lighting effect.

Ease of use: The H102 the controls are on the top and the H101 they’re on the side. Given I’m tall and in my use case I’m standing next to it on a mid height table, the top controls are easier for me, but if you were to have it on a night stand next to bed I think the side controls would be better.

Cleaning: The H101 the tank lifts off the base and you have direct access to the bits that need cleaning where as the H102 the atomizer is in a drop tube where you remove a cover and have to slide what I’m guessing is the water level sensor out of the way to get to it. Is the H102 harder to clean, ya a little bit, but not impossible.

Leaking: The H102 is advertised as 100% never leak, and since the atomizer and brains basic sit in a bucket, yes it’s accurate. Sure if you pull the control module out you’ll get a few drops off the drop tube. The H101 I haven’t noticed any leaks and it’s been running 24/7 for a week, but I could see if you don’t place the tank in the base properly yes I can see the chance of leaks, which is why I just remove the top cap and use a pitcher to fill it. Sure over time the rubber gasket on the bottom of the tank could start to fail, but I don’t see that happening in the reasonably to expect future.

End notes: They both work great, I will say do not skip the recommended weekly cleaning. The H102 has stopped working, but I did run it 24/7 except on weekends for 4.5 months straight on tap water never cleaning it so I don’t think it’s fair to fault the device for that.

Quiet, easy to use, good mist output, no white powdery residue.

I have gone through a lot of humidifiers due to living in a hard water area and not wanting to buy gallon after gallon of distilled water when you’re going through a tank a day. I love the ease of use and how you remove the top of the tank and then take the bottom reservoir to refill in the sink. Because our air is so dry this usually only last a day and a half but I love have humified air for my nasal passages and throat. The capacity itself is huge and I feel like it was a wonderful value for the price! I also use the hard water drop in plastic fishes in the tank and change them once a week. There is no weird smell to it. The controls are extremely easy to use and I love both the color changing light, the auto feature, and the night feature. I hope this one last me a long time!! If not, I will probably buy another of the same model because I like it’s functionality so much!
