I am thoroughly impressed with this DC ceiling fan, even on its highest airflow, provided that the blades are balanced correctly. As a light sleeper, noise sensitivity is a significant concern for me, but this fan runs so quietly that I cannot hear a thing while sleeping. It has exceeded my expectations! With six-speed options, ranging from a gentle breeze to high-velocity CFM, this fan is perfect for light sleepers, particularly those living in hot areas like myself. I already have one installed in my bedroom, and I plan on purchasing a few more for my new living room and outdoor patio.

The installation process was easy and took me approximately 30-40 minutes (I had previous experience installing ceiling fans). The LED lighting is fantastic with three different color options that are bright enough to light up my entire bedroom, and I can easily dim it as needed. The remote control is user-friendly, and the smart control with Alexa and my phone app is fantastic. I can easily say “Alexa, turn on the fan” to control it.

The blade colors consist of dark walnut and light brown/gray, both of which match the black motor. The dark walnut and black combination looks modern and better decorates my room. I tried both sides of the blades and finally chose walnut.

The only negative aspect is that the battery is not included, but AAA batteries are common and easy to acquire. This is a small issue that does not detract from how much I love this excellent fan.

This ceiling fan has been excellent so far, and I really don’t have any complaints.

**Installation:** We have an old house, so I was worried some of the wiring wouldn’t work, but I didn’t have any issues at all. The total installation took about 60 minutes, mostly because we have very tall ceilings and I hadn’t installed a fan before so I was taking my time. The instructions were very clear and straightforward. I always knew what my next step was and whether I was doing something incorrectly.

**Build:** The build quality seems strong. There is no extra movement or sway in the fan; it sits tightly in place. The blades are light but sturdy, so I don’t think there will be any bending.

**Looks:** I was worried about how the fan would look in our old house, but it is sleek and less noticeable than most.

**Light:** My only minor complaint is about the light. It’s bright enough, but I would prefer something even brighter. The cloudy light cover seems to diffuse the light, so it would be nice to have other options. We typically use really bright white bulbs, so if you’re used to standard lights, you won’t notice. Also, the rest of the smart bulbs in my house are color-changing, but this isn’t really an issue.

**Fan:** It has a wonderful range from 0 to 100. I usually keep it on five at night, as it moves air nicely. There are several other modes where it starts and stops for a “breeze” effect, but I prefer the on/off nature of it.

**Sound:** I sometimes forget it’s on, it’s so quiet. Even at 100% spin, there’s no rattling or clicking. It’s amazing.

**Google Integration:** It uses Tuya for smart integration, which makes things really easy. The best part is that it separates the light and the fan in terms of commands. If I say “turn on the fan,” it only turns the fan on without the light. I absolutely prefer this so that when I do it at night, I’m not blinded.

**Remote Control:** The remote is easy to use and easy to install. I don’t use it much, but it’s nice to have.

**Bottom Line:** I would buy this fan again and likely will buy it for other rooms. If you know what you’re doing, this fan is great. If you’re worried about installation but are minimally handy, you’ll be fine.

I brushed off the other reviews saying that the install was difficult because they said it was the first one they had ever installed and figured that didn’t apply to me but oooh no. The install process is fine up until the end where you have to install the brain of the unit and tie together 4-5 different ground wires for the system which leaves little to no space to install the box that is the brain of the unit. I also bought this to replace an old ceiling lamp that was not very bright but unfortunately neither was this one. I was really hoping for a much brighter light given that it has several leds in it but it might be worse than my old fan/light. Other than that it seems to work well as a fan and looks nice but thats about it.
