I have read different reviews for this power bank. Most reviews are positive, but reviewers note that the bank falls short in terms of wireless charging rate and they generally suggest opt for the Anker Ultra Slim Power Bank. I feel quite different. I have a 17-inch iPhone Pro Max. I am showing fast wireless charging rates, similar to the Anker, since I have both banks. If they are comparable in that regard, the Ridge offers so much more. The included cables can be used for delivering power to devices, but they can also be used to charge the bank. The digital power meter is excellent. The Ridge feels lighter than the Anker, though somewhat wider. The Ridge charges iWatches and AirPods. The Ridge offers so much more than standard power banks. It could be improved by using two USBC cords instead of one, with one being a Lightning cord. That said, I still have some lightning devices. There is no question in my mind which bank to buy.

A nicely made charger complete with two built in charging cables and magnetic charging sites for iPhone and Iwatch. And it does charge as advertised but VERY SLOWLY. Not a fast charger for sure. A bit disappointing.

Works great with an iPhone 13 for wireless charging. There’s no guesswork about proper placement because the magnet will lock on and start charging.
Using it as a wireless charger for phones that are not MagSafe, however, is not a great experience. Finding proper placement is tedious, and even a thin case is a no go. However, using the provided cables gave an older iPhone and a Pixel both a fast charge without issue. While I don’t know it’s full capability, I was easily able to able about 60% more charge to three different phones and still had some power left.
The unit itself is fairly compact, considering what it is capable of. Wireless charging, compatible with an Apple Watch, built in cables for both lightning and usb c, and the ability to charge itself with the same included cables. Oh, and a built in kickstand.
Overall, this is a handy, compact, travel charger. Works great with MagSafe, and included cables for everything else.
