Not battery powered but can be powered by a battery pack. Comes with USB-c to USB-c cable, USB-a to USB-c, and a HDMI to mini HDMI cables. Everything needed to connect it up! I tested it with usb-c from my iPhone and it works great. It can be used with just the usb-c supplying power and sending video if it’s a full function USB-C port on the device. On my Mac Studio, this means the thunderbolt ports on the back, not the standard USB-c ports on the front. I usually control this machine via remote desktop so this is a backup monitor when I need to control it directly. I love that it’s portable and only needs a USB-c cable to run it so I don’t have to mount it as a permanent setup. I can move it from machine to machine in my lab easily.

Works great and was great price (grey was half off). Really just wanted monitor for pi5, works with hdmi micro to mini and a usb power source. Also used with my legion with usb c only through PD port for having extra screen. Super portable, no real set up except plug and play. Zero complaints about quality.

For the price point this monitor is excellent! I use it as a second screen when I’m working on the go, or even at work when I want to duck into a quieter space to get some focused work done. I’ve also used it at home as a monitor for my Nintendo switch.
Pros: lightweight, easy to use (plug and play, most laptops only required a single USB C cable and that will provide power and video input), comes with a nice folio case to stop it getting scratched in transit. Also comes supplied with a variety of cables and easy to follow instructions.
Cons: Colours can appear washed out and the brightness isn’t the best, however bear in mind the price point with this monitor.
Image and colour quality can be vastly improved by enabling HDR mode on the monitor and doing the same on your device (gaming console, PC). I’ve also noticed that image quality is best when the HDMI cable is used.

Absolutely fantastic. It’s super cool because you can use it as a second screen and change the layout of it! The sound and visuals have been upgraded from their previous one, like you can TELL. Keep in mind, it’s also lightweight, so you can take it anywhere, hook it up to your phone, tablet, or just your PC, just chefs kiss. They really outdid themselves this time.

I’ve used several of the recent KYY portable monitors, but this 4K UHD 15.6″ model is by far the best yet. The screen quality is incredible—colors are vibrant, text is crisp, and videos and games look stunning.
Setup is effortless. It connects seamlessly to my MacBook, phone, and gaming system without any issues. The monitor is slim, lightweight, and easy to carry in a cross-body bag without weighing it down—perfect for travel and work on the go.

Going on vacation for 10 days. I cannot leave home without a PC in tow, & I do not like having just one monitor since at home I have 3-27″. I did not know about portable monitors until I began looking on Amazon. I love this KYY monitor! Very light, has a cover like an iPad to protect & also as a stand. Also it fits in my laptop satchel & slides in, Great! Very easy to connect & with one cord for power & the other for the video (Note- 3 types of video cables provided). Connected power to my laptop docking station but a wall charger brick is provided as well. Went into Device settings to add display to my system, only took 1min. The screen displays upper right the connection source type. Also can display settings (with button touch) to fine tune if desired but not needed. The resolution & screen quality is great! Response time great. Speakers work well enough for a device this size. Price very reasonable. Have not yet tried the connection to iPhone which will be interesting!
To summarize: 1)- Portability is wonderful very light, 2)- Quality display, 3)- Easy connect, 4)- Cover is magnetic so it stays in place & great for a stand with adjustable tilt. 5)- Screen size is good as shown, but now I wish now I would have gotten the largest which I may still do.

The portable screen is compact and easy to set up. I use it as an extra screen for my laptop when I am on the go. It works great. The monitor only requires a single cable for extending the monitor and I only use one USB C port. The monitor also has a HDMI port that is useful. It does require a power source when not connected to a PC/laptop. I had to connect it to a power source when I connected it to my phone. The colors and graphics are not the best but does the trick. Colors look faded when watching shows but it isn’t an issue. Great for the price.

I have to say, the image quality is really great. I like to use this in addition to my 32″ monitor, but it’s in a tight spot. The magnetic back / screen cover and stand is not the strongest, so if something bumps it, it doesn’t hold up so well.
I initially had trouble getting the USB-C to work. I already have enough cables around, so wanted to go with just the one. Plugging it directly into a USB-C port on the laptop did send the image through, while the port on the docking station and a usb hub did not send the image through. It did power up, though. Also, the speakers are garbage, as expected. It’s a useless feature that should be removed. I recommend a good set of desktop speakers instead.
Overall, it is very worth the price. I see they’ve released a newer version, so it will likely be better yet.
