It’s a Game Drive that can work on Xbox, PC and PlayStation. I’m currently using for my PS5 that’s shown in the picture. The drive itself is very light weight. I would make sure you give it plenty of space by your game console. The cord it comes with is a Micro USB 3.0 and it is a good wire but it is short. Transfer speed is great and it is fast. Downloading the games from the Internet took me the whole day just to put on the drive but I was ok with that because I did have a big list of games that I wanted to put on this drive. Do note that this only works for only Xbox One / PS4 games only, don’t expect PS5 or Series X games to go on here. It does feel very reliable, it does heat a bit when downloading or running games but it’s not to the level of Overheating. It is very easy to use and the connection is very fast. You are using USB 3.0 with the next gen feature on it to make it run fast. I have not experience any data losses on it so it seems very promising. Overall I would recommend picking this one up and it is very promising. It does come with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for one month so that is a nice bonus. Always make sure to register your product to Seagate to get that warranty if something does go wrong. Anyways that’s it, it’s a decent Game drive.

Hooking this drive up to my Xbox was a breeze—plugged it in, and within minutes I was shifting games over without a hitch. The 5TB capacity means I don’t have to play the shuffle game anymore, deleting and reinstalling just to try something new. Now I’ve got my entire library in one spot, and switching between big titles happens without any slowdown or hiccups.
The size and build make it easy to tuck away. I keep mine on the shelf right under the console, and the little LED strip gives off that Xbox-green glow, which actually looks slick when the lights are dim. It doesn’t take up much space, and it feels sturdy enough that I’m not worried about moving it around if I bring the console to a friend’s place.
What surprised me was how smooth the performance is when running games directly from the drive. I loaded up some older titles straight from it, and they launched just as fast as they did from the internal storage. The transfer speed over USB 3.0 keeps everything moving quickly, whether I’m downloading new stuff or shifting files.
It’s turned into one of those must-have accessories that keeps gaming hassle-free. Instead of constantly deciding what to delete, I can just focus on playing. Between the storage, the simple setup, and that sharp LED touch, it feels like this drive was made to blend right in with the rest of the Xbox setup.

As someone who’s constantly cycling through Game Pass titles and older favorites, this Seagate 2TB Game Drive has been a lifesaver for my Xbox library.
What I Like:
Simple plug-and-play setup. Literally plugged it into the USB port on my Xbox, and it was ready to go in under a minute. Super straightforward, no hassle.
Big storage in a compact design. I was able to move around 40–50 full-size Xbox One and Xbox 360 games onto it with room to spare.
Good speed. It’s not an SSD, but for an HDD it’s solid—downloads, installs, and load times are consistent for older games.
Officially compatible with Xbox, so there’s no guessing whether it will work. It’s built for this.
What to Know:
This drive does not play Xbox Series X|S games directly from it. You can store them on it, but to play them, you’ll need to move the game back onto the console’s internal SSD.
Occasionally, the Xbox might not recognize it on boot-up. Unplugging and plugging it back in fixes it every time, but it’s something to keep in mind.
It’s a hard drive, not a solid-state drive, so don’t expect lightning-fast speeds—but it’s perfect for bulk storage.
Final Thoughts:
If you’re still playing a lot of Xbox One, 360, or original Xbox titles—or just need extra space for Series X|S games you aren’t playing right now—this drive is a great choice. It’s affordable, reliable, and makes managing your library way easier. Definitely worth it for any serious Xbox player.

No noise, easy to connect, quality is great, gives extra space to keep games stored until you want to play them. So far the security is good. No issues yet.

It actually works not much more to say then that no noise just plug it in and use no freezing and adds amazing storage Do it if you love to play different games and don’t want to delete any I have every call of duty plus 20 more high storage games and can still download more

Works well with my Xbox Series X for storing games. For a HDD it is fast, and a reliable way to store and play Xbox One and 360 games, plus as a place to store Series X games. Be aware that an external HDD or SSD like this can only store Series X games, to play them you need a Storage Card or the internal drive.

Even as a casual gamer these days, I began to worry about my Xbox One not having enough storage space for the games I play. Now that my kids are old enough to have their own games too, I needed something to help share the load and this external drive fit the bill. Just plug it in, tuck the drive out of the way, and let it format to your device. It was quick, easy, and has held up well so far. It also came with a subscription to Game Pass so any unnecessary worries I had about the price (which was easily affordable) were put to rest.

Great device, I purchased it knowing full wellnthat it does NOT play Series X or S games stored on it. Reason I picked it up was to hold the endless amount of 360 and One games I have.
