I searched through dozens of hubs to find one that fit my use case – I have two different laptops that I periodically have to swap into my dual-monitor desktop setup, one of which has only a single USB-C port. This unit has dual-HDMI outputs, allows for PD charging (you need a separate power brick and USB cable), and has enough USB ports to allow me to leave a keyboard, mouse, headphone dongle, and webcam attached. As others have noted, it does get a bit warm, though not enough to burn or be of real concern. The one issue I have with the unit is the USB-C connector – it’s an integrated cable, and it’s short. One of my laptops has its USB-C port on the left, and the other has it on the right, and the integrated cord on this unit isn’t long enough to reach both from a single position, which means I have to constantly flip it over when I swap laptops, resulting in a tangle of cords. And if anything goes wrong with the integrated cord, the whole unit will be useless. I’d much prefer to be able to use a longer cord. Otherwise, it’s a great unit for the price.

Llevaba tiempo buscando un buen hub que pudiera sostener 4K a 60hz y que no fuera muy costoso, sin duda este fue la mejor opción.
Personalmente me dedico a la producción multimedia y conectado un disco duro, una memoria SD y un monitor externo, todo en un solo hub me parece sorpréndete cuando quiero editar videos, hacer corrección de audio y retocar fotografías.
Es una compra que sin duda recomendaría y estoy a punto de comprarme otro para mi segunda laptop.
Detalles a tomar en cuenta es que después de un rato con varias cosas conectadas puede calentarse un poco pero nada grave si no estás en un lugar muy caliente.
Por último me gustaría agregar la belleza de los stickers que incluye, de verdad son muy lindos y recientemente me pedí una carcasa rígida para mi Mac porque quiero poder pegarlos en la tapa trasera.

I bought the docking station for my rog ally z1 extreme. It works well with the system. I use it to play games from my asus rog ally on my TV and I use it for my computer screen also. The sd card and all the USB ports work well on this. I use my asus rog ally charger and it works well with this. I use this also for my Gaming computer and it works well also. I highly recommend this docking station.

Purchased a few of these and they worked fine for a few months, but then started having issues with a couple of them. Things like the mouse and keyboard would stop responding or moving very slowly. I spent a lot of time troubleshooting the mouse and keyboard, the batteries, the laptops, etc. Also sometimes the display wouldn’t come up. I tried upgrading the video and DisplayLink drivers. I do IT as a living so felt comfortable with my assessment that the docking stations were faulty. They were not travel ones, these 2 were left in my home and used periodically for 2 setups.
UPDATE: I spoke with Baseus Support and they refunded the price of these and also recommended a 65W charger for these if having issues. I wasn’t putting a big demand on these docking stations (single HDMI and USB adapter for a wireless keyboard/mouse combo), but will see if the charger fixes the issue.
