This is an excellent value for an indoor/outdoor wifi camera! It was quick and easy to get it set up, and the small size makes it very convenient to install with a single screw. It connected easily to my wifi, and I like that it’s powered by a standard 5v USB outlet adapter.
Attached are images I just took with the Pro cameras in 2 different locations.
I have both the earlier standard G3 and this Pro version of the cameras, and the quality of both is great. This Pro model does seem to offer (very) slightly better night vision, and overall resolution seems a little better, but the 2 models are very comparable. One issue I’ve been having with the 2.5k is that it seems to have buggy/finicky human and motion detection. Though the Pro advertises better human detection, mine seem to have more false positives than the original G3.
Regardless, I would buy this camera again because of the high quality images and ease of integration with the existing Vimtag app. And the ability to save recordings to an SD is beautiful (and you can review the camera’s SD card content right from the app).
So there is some room for improvement, but I would still recommend this cheap camera for anyone who wants to get basic monitoring up and running economically and quickly.

Great upgrade from 1080p camera, and set up is a breeze The little light on the front is a nice touch, it won’t be like a flood light outside, but could be used indoors to light up a room to keep would be intruders honest. Two way audio makes for a good baby/pet monitoring situation. Under ideal situations audio is clear enough to have a kind of conversation, perhaps if maybe you have this at your front door and need to communicate with a delivery guy. Build quality is nice and solid, water protection is surprisingly good. For the price, I don’t think I could be happier.

Unit worked ok for 7 months then suddenly stopped sending notifications and stopped saving to SD card. Support tried to help but that just ended up being a run around. I am going to replace with a different brand.

I have three cameras for security. They all work great! The quality is great ! Value for your buck! I’ll be buying more of these. Easy to hook up to Vimtag. Vimtag app has some issues. But that’s not the cameras fault. I see people complaining about how they hate that it goes off every few min at the slightest motion detection. The app allows you to disable this or you can drop down the motion sensitivity right on the app. You can switch from day and night. U can chose to have a spot light or Alarm come on. Everything is up to your preference on the Vimtag App. They have issues to be fixed. But it’s fairly new so they have to trial and error before it will be perfect! LOVE THESE CAMERAS!!

This is by far my most favorite security camera! I’ve tried a few different ones! It’s the only one that has out done the other brand I’ve used. I have another one I love too that works just as great, but cost more! The app is awesome too! The only thing that drives me a lil crazy is it records every movement. Otherwise, I love this camera! This is coming from someone who is dv survivor and this camera caught that person on my porch! The other camera did not!

Camera’s at first were hard to hook up, but once I got the hang of it, they were easy too hook up I bought 2. I have one towards my car and then one towards the other side were I live I have a lot of kids so I have 2 in total and then afterwords like a couple months down the line. I bought another 1 so I have a total of 3 cameras in different directions but I like them a lot they have clear vision but at night I haven’t figured out how to work the night vision in a darker area of where I live, but other than that the cameras are very nice. I wish the volume worked outside but the volume only works inside but I keep them turned off because I don’t wanna record people that are inside my house. But they are small and are amazing. People tell me I should hide them more because of the little red dot because I have them right in my windows I said I really don’t care if people know I have a camera it’s for the safety of my car.

This is the best mini camera. I bought this to keep an eye on my door while I wasn’t home. It is outside during all weather conditions, and it never fails. The picture is great quality, and it tapes 24/7/365. I get an alert when movement is detected, and I feel safer being away from home. I did get it damaged when the snow came off the roof, but Vimtag replace it. I am very pleased with my purchase. Thank you for all your support.
