Works fine after programming to my Escape. Reliable and cheap. Although one caveat is that the trunk button doesn’t work on my Escape but that’s normal since it doesn’t HAVE a power trunk.
How to program: get in your car, make sure all the doors are unlocked. With the ignition off, put your key in, then flip the ignition from off to on EIGHT times, with the eighth time ending with on. The locks should cycle and that indicates the car is in programming mode. Now you can press any button on a remote ONCE and the locks should cycle again, indicating it’s paired the remote. You can pair any additional remotes at this time too, and the locks should cycle each time you do. Once you’re done, turn off the ignition and done!

Wow! Was so easy and fast to program. Used for 2012 Ford Escape. Have 2 keys that are cut and programmed to the engine but lost my original key/fob combo. Locksmith told me to order off Amazon and bring to him and he would do it for $150 for 1st one and half off to program 2nd one. I think that was including having the keys cut but I only wanted the fob section as I already had cut/programmed keys. Took 20 seconds to program following instructions on product page and worked immediately. I actually laughed it was that fast. Very happy and glad to save some $. Seems like a good product that should last a while.
