Very misleading ad , pictures show the Dash cam with AV port to plug in a second camera, it doesn’t have a port
The pictures also shows that it has a direct battery and fuses box connection, it didn’t have that, it has a lighter port to type C
Very disappointed with the received product

I bought this dash cam for my sister and she absolutely loves it! We installed it together, the video quality is sharp and clear, even at night thanks to the night vision feature. Setting it up was super easy, and the WiFi connectivity with the app lets her check recordings right from her phone. It’s compact and discreet, so it doesn’t distract while driving, and features like loop recording and 24H parking mode give her extra peace of mind. It even supports up to 256GB cards, so storage isn’t an issue. Overall, it’s a practical, high-quality gift that she’s really happy with! We would definitely recommend it!

I should’ve saved the photo I took with it. But essentially, despite the price (of being only $29.99 at the time of writing this message, WITH a $10 coupon available!), this is actually the very best clear picture dashcam I’ve EVER owned to date, and I’ve tried HUNDREDS of them at this point!

Even some that cost well into $100, even close to $200 in price! So I don’t know if I’ve just been having had this entire time or what, but I was VERY satisfied with how clearly I could read the license plates and how HD the picture actually looked!

And it doesn’t have any bloatware either! You just power it on and you’re good to go! The app that comes with it is ACTUALLY in English (You’d be surprised to know that not all English webcams actually have English interfaces), and it’s easy to use and has a ton of useful features!

Essentially it fully operates through the app, and you can view live picture from your phone as well! It records in great quality, is plug and play, easy to setup, and cheap!

You can’t get better than that! If there was ONLY a model of this dashcam that had BOTH an interior and exterior facing camera, then my life would be complete! Then I’d use it for my front dashcam as well! (Currently it’s only holstered onto the rear windshield!)

Oh yeah, and the sticking quality is great! And I love the flexibility of it when moving it around as well! I have no complaints or ANYTHING bad AT ALL to say about this dashcam!

It truly is worth every penny! Make a model with BOTH a front and rear camera in the future, and you’ll have a loyal customer purchasing it on day one of release! Hope this review helps!

the dashcam i spent 3x the money on not even a year ago wouldn’t write but every other file. consequently i was only getting vids every other 5 minutes, so i got this to try instead.

the device is nice and small thanks to no display screen. as such i was able to place it directly under my rear view mirror so it blends in. fyi two things. first be sure to clean the glass area before putting on the glass. also before sticking in place have it connected to its wifi network so you can aim it right using the image on your phone.

the app works ok no issues. you need register within the app. after just follow the simple instructions to proceed. FYI during that process it’ll ask you for ‘the password ‘ it’s not the one you set for the app, it’s the default one as shown on the docs that come with the cam.

i don’t use wifi to access vids. i always pull the sd card and then look at saved vids on my pc. i used a 256gb card. once inserted and powered on it will say “to format card press the power button.” for that size card it took approximately a minute to complete. it’ll tell you when it’s finished. side note…you do not need to be connected to your phone for this to record. you can do that but again it isn’t necessary.

I’m happier with this dashcam than the two i had before. it may be basic but it does a goid job and i really like how small it is. so far no complaints.

This CIEVIE 4K Dash Cam with Front and Rear cameras is lightweight at 90g and quite discrete. It is quite well made and sturdy.

It is easy to use as when powered, it goes directly to recording mode.

It has all of the normal dash cam features such as parking monitoring, Wake upon collision, Time Lapse etc.

All of these features require a hardware kit that is not supplied.

The camera itself is very basic as most of the bells and whistles are controlled from within the GKU GO app.

After installing the GKU GO app from the app store, open app and you are invited to agree to the terms of use and privacy policy in order to use the app.

Once terms accepted, you are presented with the Password Login screen where you are invited to create an account or login if account already held.

This stage can be bypassed by clicking the skip link in the top right corner.

This then takes you to the Add Camera screen.

Follow instructions on phone screen from here to connect to the camera’s WiFi.

You are now able to control the camera from the app.

From app you can start/stop recording, take photos, switch between front/rear/both cameras, view, download and delete media.

You are also able to access the camera’s many configuration options from the app.

There is an option to download the offline maps to get live telemetry showing speed and direction superimposed onto the map.

Unfortunately this map download keeps failing for me and there is no other method mentioned for obtaining them.

Without a phone running the app, the options are very limited as the only control is the “Function Button” on its side.

One short press will start recording a locked video (One that is not automatically over written). Holding in for 3 seconds will factory reset the device.

The camera also works as a micro SD card reader when connected to the PC via its USB C connector but all camera functions are disabled.

If the function button is short pressed the screen switches back on and displays a message reading USB Storage.

The picture quality is very good in daylight and good at night.

The camera works in very low light conditions but has no built in illumination such as IR LEDs so relies on both ambient and your cars headlights.

The manual says you can view GPS Videos on PC by downloading an app called DV Player.

This is not in the app store but a link to download manually from dvplayer.net is provided.

When you get to the download page, you need to give an email address for recovery purposes if you loose the code and the code itself.

The activation code for this app is pasted onto page 15 of the manual.

The activation was taking ages with no acknowledgement given of completion.

I didn’t wait for activation to complete and a click on the play button opened the load video window so the videos could be loaded.

The app is really nice as it shows the camera video and on the right hand side of the screen it displayed the map with the car superimposed onto it.

The camera is secured to windscreen by first cleaning area and sticking the electrostatic sticker to windscreen.

The 3M adhesive mount of camera is then stuck to this sticker.

The camera can easily be removed from the mounting by sliding the camera upwards from the mounting and it can then be removed.

In summary, this is a good 4K + 1080P dash cam.

It has many features but they are only accessible from the app.

Worth shortlisting.
