I picked this up as a gift for a buddy who drives an older car without all the new tech. The setup was pretty simple and did not need any fancy wiring, which was a relief. The screen is clear enough to see maps and menus without squinting, and the touch response is decent. He liked that it connects to both Carplay and Android Auto so it works with whatever phone he has around.
The Bluetooth connection works well for calls and music, though sometimes it takes a few extra seconds to sync up. The FM transmitter option is handy for cars without an AUX input. The voice control is not perfect but it is good enough for telling it to call someone or play a song without taking your hands off the wheel.
One thing to note is the speaker in the unit itself is just average, so it sounds better if you run it through the car speakers. The mount is steady once you get it in place, but you might need to adjust it a couple of times to get the angle right. Still, it is a lot better than staring at a phone screen in your lap.

Works great for $50, but there are a couple of things that could be better. I bought this for my daughter’s car, and overall it works great. 1st problem was that my daughter’s car didn’t support Bluetooth audio and the FM spectrum in our area is full so I had to use the auxiliary cable which was way too short and using an extension created noise so I bought a 6’ cable and it worked fine. 2nd problem is that it did not come with a suction cup mount which I was led to believe by the description should have been included. I tried to use the included adhesive dash mount, but the adhesive didn’t hold up in the heat. I have several different suction cup ball mounts but the balls are all either too small or too large, and I can’t figure out how to get in touch with customer support so I stuck trying to get some adhesive to work.
…If I had to buy another one I would probably make sure it came with a suction cup mount!

It is useful. Setup was simple, and it connects quickly to my phone. I like having gps, and backup camera, because my car does not have that. Sound quality is good when paired through bluetooth, and the mount keeps it steady while driving. It makes driving much easier and safer with hands-free navigation and calls. Overall, it took me about one minute to get the system connected to the phone. The mounts are easy to use and the included adhesive are very strong. I have not yet hooked up the back up camera as I will need to do more research on how to open up the back of the car to splice the wire needed to activate the camera. The quality of the screen is why I gave it four stars. For the price it is probably five stars, but the screen is definitely not overly sharp or any sort of high definition. Definitely functional, but not something that would compare to a factory installed screen.
