I have used Tekton tools in the past and have had good results. This seems like a good heavy duty socket and won’t break the bank. You can pay more but I consider this socket well worth its decent price

Bought this because I work on semi trucks and I do oil changes in freightliners, oil cap is a 36 MM socket and this is a 6 point socket, so it has a lower chance to strip than a 12 point socket on a plastic cap!

I use this daily to remove lug nuts on semi trucks and it has held up well. I did manage to break it once but that was potentially my fault as I was abusing the everlasting hell out of the socket, overheating it by hammering it on a rusted lug nut that wouldn’t come lose. The warranty process with Tekton made it a breeze to replace. Literally send them a photo of the socket with your name and date in the background and they ship it out same day.
