Sharp blade cutting accurate, clean holes efficiently in 1/2” thick drywall. Quality material and quick change arbor with two pilot hole bits and one Allen wrench make it a pleasure to use. Large holes in body make it quick and easy to punch out waste material. Would buy again.

I gambled on this “cheap” hole saw and won. It was 1/3 the cost of the known brands and performed great. I had eight 7-1/2 inch holes to cut in plywood. It did it easily and looking at the blade no worse for wear (paints not even wore off the saw teeth.) Don’t know how it will do in metal, but I have carbide tipped saws for that, so I will never know.

This worked perfectly for enlarging holes through two layers of plywood for some new light fixtures. Great price.

I bought this holesaw to cut a 6” hole in some sheet metal (steel). Unfortunately, this holesaw did not perform as I had hoped that it would.

The whole saw itself is made of a very heavy metal. The teeth, when received, were very sharp. This hole saw would probably work great cutting Wood. However, for metal, the teeth were destroyed very quickly. I tried to sharpen the teeth to get a little more life out of the holesaw, but with no success. The metal of the saw is just too soft to retain a sharp edge for cutting steel, even thin steel. After I destroyed the hole saw through use and sharpening, I ended up throwing it away.

The collar that goes into the center of the hole saw is very substantial and ended up being the same size and fit as other hole saws that I had purchased. So I kept the centerpiece and will use that again with other hole saws that I have in my collection.

Again, this hole saw would probably work great for wood cutting. However, even though the description says it will cut metal, I would not recommend that you purchase it to try and cut metal.

I recently purchased an all-purpose drill bit, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. After reading some mixed reviews, I was a bit skeptical, but I decided to give it a shot for my latest home improvement project, which involved cutting through drywall, plastic, and wood. I’m thrilled to report that this drill bit performed flawlessly!

First, let’s talk about its versatility. This bit glided effortlessly through drywall, making clean cuts without any tearing or fraying. For anyone who’s ever struggled with messy drywall cuts, you know how crucial this is. The precision was impressive, leaving behind a smooth edge that required minimal finishing.

Next, I tackled some plastic. I was worried that the bit might melt or chip the material, as I’ve experienced with other bits in the past. However, it cut through the plastic like butter, maintaining its sharpness and not causing any deformation. This is a major win for anyone who needs to work with various materials.

Finally, I put it to the test on wood. The drill bit made quick work of several types, from soft pine to denser hardwoods. It showed no signs of dulling, and I was able to achieve clean holes without excessive effort. The performance was consistent, making it clear that this bit is built to last.

To counter the naysayers, I’d argue that the key to this drill bit’s success lies in its design and quality. While some users may have had issues, I believe that proper usage, including the right speed and pressure, plays a significant role in achieving optimal results. I’ve used inferior bits that required constant pressure and left me frustrated, but this one made the process enjoyable.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for a reliable drill bit that can handle a variety of materials with ease, I wholeheartedly recommend this all-purpose option. It’s a tool that delivers on its promises, and I can confidently say it has become a staple in my DIY toolkit. Don’t let the skeptics deter you—give it a try, and you might just find it as indispensable as I have!

I only needed to cut one hole and didn’t want to pay $40 at big box lumber store. Did the job. Difficult to get the arbor out after I finished. Arbor provided uses the threads to hold saw in place. There are holes in saw that would have allowed me to use my arbors that lock in with pins. Next time. Spring on the drill bit is a nice feature.

Husband went to The Big Box store to buy a six and a half inch hole saw then he needed to use for one thing, one time, he was frustrated with the $60 price tag. I told him I would order one online for him. It arrived overnight so he had it the next day to use when he needed it.
I was pleased with the much more reasonable price tag, and my husband thought it was a sturdy hole saw, it was sharp and it worked well. We don’t know if I’ll ever use it again, but it was great to have it at a reasonable price for our immediate need.
