Iโm heavily invested in 18v Makita tools and I find most perform satisfactorily for my intermediate use. But my Makita tire inflator has been the bain of my existence. I finally bought this Milwaukee inflator along with a $9.00 adapter to use my Makita batteries with it to keep my initial cost down. The difference is night and day. The Makita is painfully slow and whenever Iโve used it to inflate a set of 80 PSI truck tires itโs taken forever and has always overheated and shut down before I could top off four tires. This Milwaukee inflator knocked out a set of four in just a few minutes and showed no signs of slowing down. I highly recommend it no matter what battery system you might be invested in. Battery adapters are cheap and work well.

Inflates fast. Gauge is very close to my hand-held digital gauge. So nice not having to get out pancake compressor just to top off 4 tires. Don’t bother with 12 volt version. Definitely get the quick connect, no more threading.

Quality tool from Milwaukee (as you would expect). Takes the M18 Fuel battery and is a no brainer for existing Milwaukee tool buyers. I use this for my off road adventures when I need to deflate tires down to 20psi for trail then re inflate them for trip home. This is a powerhouse and also a set and forget convenience. For my 33 in tires moving hem from 20 PSI to 32 takes about 3 min on this. If it is a hot day the unit can over heat on 4th tire and you need to let it set for 10 min.

This compressor is awesome, it can be used for off-roaders, or just to top off your low tire. Typical Milwaukee quality, i feel like it would take a good drop. It has a great design, and is very easy to use. the auto shut off mode is perfect for set it and walk away for a minute. It will also go up to 150 psi, it is very fast, and portable.

If you camp or off road this is a MUST. It is scary to get stuck on a back road somewhere especially if your phone doesnโt work. It works fast! For camping it will inflate an air mattress too. I use it on my bikes, vehicles, pool toys. Truly a worthwhile tool.

I finally broke down and got this Milwaukee 18v 2848-20 inflator.
I have tried several different inflators, powered, pneumatic, battery, usb, small, large, etc. By far this is the best I have used. It inflates very fast. at all ranges. I have filled my RV tires (90psi), my motorcycle tires (41psi), my electric bike tires (70psi), and car (36psi). This thing works great on all of them.
Battery charge lasts forever.
I have had Milwaukee M18 & M12 tools for years, and finally decided to bite the bullet and get this one. For the price, this thing rocks. Not cheap, but works like a charm.
It takes any m18 battery, and works fine. Which I love since I have a ton of them.
Finally have an inflator I can rely on. I got the (Tool Only) one, as I have enough batteries and chargers.

Wow…just wow, this thing works GREAT! I helped a neighbor assemble their E-bikes in their garage, and they had this compressor, which I used. I had only pumped up one tire when I realized I was absolutely going to buy one of these. It’s fast, easy and intuitive to use, and 100% portable. I used to drag a long hose around my garage and driveway to pump up tires on a myriad of items….and now I just grab this and it is sooo much quicker and convenient. FYI…..you will still need to keep your regular electrical compressor though to use for things like pneumatic tools etc…
