The Particular Discerner –
Writing reviews on products like this is very difficult. Do you rate it compared to full size compressors? That wouldn’t be fair because, as Scotty on the Enterprise put it, “I can’t change the laws of physics”. You simply can’t get volumetric parity in a hand-held unit compared to a large air compressor. So, do you instead rate it compared small hand pumps? That’s a closer match, actually, and from this perspective the little compressor is a star. While it is much slower than a full size compressor, it is a speed demon compared to a manual hand or bicycle tire pump. The switches and display are relatively intuitive and the internal logic that pumps up to your set pressure and then stops is brilliant. My only gripe, as others have noted, is that the screw-on connection is a little finicky. Plus it seems particularly difficult to get the threads started. On the plus-side, though, very little air is lost when unscrewing the hose from the valve which is more than can be said for clamp type connections. I have only used this for bicycle and motorcycle tire filling and one other niche application. That is the inflation of thermal expansion tanks frequently found in connection with water heaters and for water hammer suppression. For these purposes the pump is unsurpassed in its handiness. Being able to set the pressure in one pound increments and have the pump stop when it reaches the set level makes this job a joy, even in tight spaces. At the reasonable price of this pump, I would have bought one simply for this one use. I suspect that it isn’t a great solution for high load applications such as filling pickup and truck tires. It would take all day and overly stress the unit. But for its intended purpose, it is difficult to envision any needed improvements. Highly recommended.

Ottimo articolo, lo uso per la bici, comodo da portare dietro viste le piccole dimensioni

I just wish most products were this good. Design is clean, minimal and has a good interface and looks like someone cared about what they were making. The battery lasts along time between uses and can charge your phone or other device if needed. I have used it a couple times per month for my motorcycle and it will hold a charge for 3-4 months. I filled two large pickup truck tires that needed about 10psi each and it worked hard (maybe 2-3 min each), but got it done. Car tires are faster. The valve is screw on, but seals really quick in maybe 1.5 turns so you can use it as a pressure gauge without loosing pressure. Small enough to carry on a motorcycle. Just scary good.

Really nice and dependable product- I keep it in my garage to pump up my bicycle tires. Works better than the little air compressor I bought earlier. Holds a charge for a very long time and small enough to stash away.

Great value for the money in my opinion

The power of the gas station in the palm of your hand! It might be small and it might be (a little) slower than the gas station’s air pump, but boy does it deliver! It is power and convenience in a compact form factor. I was about to head home from work when I noticed a slightly deflated tire. Thankfully I had this in the trunk, so a few minutes later I was on my way! Seriously, this thing is practical, accurate, and reliable! Love it! Plus you can pump your bicycle and basketball too!

Love this pump! Perfect for the motorcycle side bag. Set the desired pressure attach the hose and turn on. It shuts off when the set PSU is reached.

This air pump is excellent. I use it to pump up my bicycle tires once a week. I’ve also used it to adjust my car’s air pressure when the season changed. It’s very easy to attach to the valve. I keep it charged. After every use, I always have more than 75% battery left. I also love how small and portable it is. Inflating bike tires is very fast. Inflating car tires is much slower. Noise is approximately the same as other comparable devices.

This is convenient and essential to keep in your car. One charge can top off the low tires. Something to note, the hose can get a little hot so it may be recommended to rest a minute between use. I like the ease of use and the screen is clear and easy to read.

I bought two of these, one for each vehicle. We have used both of them quite a few times on vehicles, bikes, and other types of tires. It’s really nice to have on hand when you can’t get to somewhere to air up your tires. It does take a little bit to air up tires but definitely worth it. I like that it automatically shuts off when it gets to the set pressure, the screen is bright enough to seven in the sunlight. We can usually get a few uses out of it before needing to charge it but try to charge it every time we use it so that it’s always ready. One sat unused for months (summer and winter) and still had plenty of battery to air up a tire.

Excellent matériel qui m’a bien dépanner alors que en VTT j’étais assez loin de chez moi.
