Worked perfectly for the base plate in a retired PPV (Police Patrol Vehicle) I own. I could only use them on the front portion. Only reasons for the four stars is the paint does not hold up and scratches easily on the portion of the ball you have to tighten. And, this is a plus and a minus, they are very difficult to get unscrewed if you decide you need to relocate to another area. The plus being it does its job and stays tight. The minus for being so tight once paced that it difficult to remove. Very good product for the price.

These are great, the ball is solid and strong, the stem is pretty sturdy and the mounting is great, it screws on easily and tightens down very securely. It shouldn’t allow an arm to come off like a soft ball or a weak or rubber connection/neck. These fix that and are very strong. Works great. No complaints.

The ball is the right size and have a good grip. What’s particularly nice about these mounts is that the material isn’t easy to damage, and nothing has “melted” under the heat of the sun.
