Great replacement mount. As these age the rubber wears out or drys out. Causing the rubber suction cup to crack and no longer hold to the glass. These are nice fresh and give great grip. Again holding your dash cam to the window.

I was about to ditch my Rove cam because I got tired of it falling off the windshield and then screw you use to adjust the angle (where it slides into the camera) had broken as well. I decided to order this and can say it’s probably better than the original parts that came with the camera.
While a suction cup should work on its own, this one has a slightly “sticky” feel which likely helps it stay in place. I took a road trip for a week after installing this and no issues at all. Meanwhile, the device I got with the actual camera was falling off within the first week?
I would say if you like the Rove camera and had immediate issue with the mounting system, then just buy this.

Exactly what I needed. I took a gamble that is connection would fit my Uniden dash cam which is several years old and it did. I don’t like sticking things directly to the windscreen so this item is perfect

Worked great I had to replace the old one that came with the camera. Apparently I guess had dry rot and no longer stuck to the windshield.
