Extremely well made product that is solid and has some girth to it. Not hard to install but a little tricky to get working. It does not need WiFi to use the GPS to track time, date, and speed. Stores the inside of vehicle, front, and rear cameras separately. I purchased a separate 512 gig hard disk for maximum storage. Crystal clear recordings. If you initiate a picture you can enlarge it to see any license plate number. I purchased after being pulled over and told by cop I was going 52 in a 35 which I was definitely not. Voice recording inside vehicle is awesome as well. Now if I am pulled over I can tell the police officer that he is being recorded. I can now bring proof into court if necessary. A must now a day with so much dishonesty. It’s everything that I hoped it was and better than expected. It slides off in case you want to bring it inside when it’s hot or cold. I did not purchase to watch my car when parked, just for driving.

Revised Review: Redtiger customer service reached out to me to work through the issues. I have the utmost respect for the company for doing that, and on that alone, I’m raising the rating to 5 stars. Kudos, Redtiger! How many companies stand behind their products and care about the customer experience? Very few! Redtiger does!
This is my second Redtiger dashcam. The first one I purchased was a $99 entry-level unit that worked flawlessly. I got this one for greater resolution and three channels.
My first gripe is that the cable to the rear unit is not long enough. I don’t have a school bus, I have a Honda CR-V. It. Won’t. Reach. I had to get a USB C extension cable.
The other complaint is that I’m constantly getting “boot up” error messages about the rear camera – clearly, it thinks it is disconnected.

Great camera. Very good video quality and one thing that I really like is if camera detects a dangerous situation it has a separate folder for it and it’s easy to find that specific video. Looks very modern as well and instruction is easy to follow.

La verdad es que estoy muy contento con este producto, funciona a la perfección, se ve también muy bien, ya incluye una tarjeta micro SD pero si tienen la oportunidad de ampliarla que mejor, si no mal recuerdo la tarjeta de alta capacitación que admite es de 512gb si no mal recuerdo, fácil de instalar, se conecta a la app muy bien, por ahí vi que decía una reseña que la pantalla siempre estaba prendida y eso es mentira, en ajustes puedes cambiar eso y muchas cosas más, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

I’ve been using the REDTIGER F17 Elite for a little while now, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. Setup was simple, and the included 128GB card meant I could start using it right away without extra purchases.
The video quality is outstanding – the 4K front camera paired with the 2.5K rear and 1080P inside camera capture crisp, detailed footage. Even at night, the STARVIS 2 sensors deliver full-color recordings that are clear enough to easily read plates and signs.

The unit came with how to install the unit but it had absolutely no instructions on how to use the unit. Many times when you went to the menu and you pressed a certain action that you wanted to change you could not get back to the main menu without recycling the power of the unit. Tried to contact the company by email and no response from them. Also it wanted to connect to Wi-Fi on the app that you download it, however once you connected it if you want it to use the camera then you have to turn the Wi-Fi off or else you cannot use the camera. No instructions on how to use the app either. It may be a reputable company but it definitely needs improvement as far as how to use their unit. Very difficult to operate from the menu.

I love it so much, easy setup. For the wifi setup I see many complaining simply you can use your Hotspot on your phone and do the setup, one dislike the power button won’t work without it connecting to the car charger, but overall great Dashcam 👍🏾.

The quality of the video is great. Works well with the hard wire kit. I have it set on parking collision to awake. If someone hit me while parked it would wake up. Hopefully that function would work good if ever in that situation.
Cons: Make sure the audio/ microphone is on every time before you go to drive! My audio was off by itself when I really wanted it on. Plus if you turn on microphone in the interior it cuts off audio to front and rear cameras also! Also a storage upgrade might be necessary.

All three cameras work excellently as described. Downloading the app was a pain in the butt until I actually totally disabled Android Auto on my phone. I also wish the app linked the phone to camera remotely like my Ring camera works but maybe in the future. All in All – great product delivered on time.
