This is a great dashcam set up, views ahead, behind and inside the car. I have the forward facing camera on the passenger side so I’m not distracted, it records everything clearly, after a very short time the screen turns into a clock so again, no distractions seeing the live feed everything is recorded onto the little SD card that comes with it so no cloud subscription needed. It’s easy to install, the rear view camera comes with enough cable for a stretch limo so I had to be creative on where I hid the excess. Hiding the wires is easy as it comes with a little tool to lift the interior trim just enough to push it all in without any damage to the car. You download playback onto the Botslab app if you want to check anything. I feel more secure knowing everything is being recorded.

I’ve been using the BOTSLAB 3 Channel 4K Dash Cam for a few days now, and I’m seriously impressed with the performance and value it delivers. It was very easy to install, and I love that it came with a 128GB memory card right out of the box—no need to buy anything extra to get started.
The video quality is fantastic. The front camera records in true 4K, which is crystal clear even in low-light situations. The rear and inside cameras are also high-quality, providing full coverage around and inside the vehicle. The triple channel feature gives me complete peace of mind whether I’m driving during the day or parking overnight.
One of my favorite features is the voice control. It’s surprisingly responsive and makes it super convenient to save footage or take photos while keeping my hands on the wheel. The 3.18-inch touch screen is sleek and very easy to use — the menu is intuitive and doesn’t feel clunky like some other dash cams I’ve tried.
The 24/7 parking mode works exactly as expected and gives me confidence when I leave my car parked for long periods. Loop recording also works smoothly, so I never have to worry about running out of storage
Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their car’s safety and security.

Wonderful dash cam. So easy to set up, and I say that as a non technical person. Easy to set up in my car, and hope i don’t have to use it for any incidents.

Highly recommended. Another high quality product from Botslab. This 3 channel dash cam was easy to fit and came with a small tool for installation of the cable behind trim. The 4k high quality camera provide sharp clear pictures. Impressive response to voice commands which make hands free operation simple. The dash cam connected first time into the app which is easy to navigate and allows the downloading of pictures and videos. The 3 cameras provide all round wide angle capture and the product comes with a 128gb micro sd card so the dashcam is already to install and setup as soon as unpackaged. The touch screen is clear and easy to see and has the option of screensaver clock which is really useful. The transfer speeds of the images and videos is supper fast and makes retrieval very easy. Overall with high quality video and picture recording even in low light levels makes this a must have product for driving safety and confidence that any incidents will be recorded

I’ve been using this DVR as an upgrade from my previous dual-channel VIOFO, and the difference is noticeable—especially during daytime recording.
The front camera offers a wide angle and outstanding clarity, making license plates easily readable even for vehicles in adjacent lanes. I also appreciate that the side cameras are active in parking mode and maintain solid daytime quality.
Performance Highlights
Daytime Recording:
Video quality during the day is excellent. License plates are clear and readable—even for cars passing quickly in adjacent lanes. My older DVRs, including some 4K models, only captured plates well at full stops like traffic lights.
Frame-by-frame review reveals consistently sharp, crisp images without blurring, even for fast-moving vehicles.
In a past hit-and-run incident, I was asked to provide footage from the side impact. This DVR is fully capable of recording such incidents during the day.
The front camera’s wide angle is superb—capturing vehicles in adjacent lanes even when they’re just beginning to pass.
Nighttime Recording:
Front camera performs well at night—slightly better than my previous VIOFO, particularly in reading plates in side lanes.
Rear camera is on par with or slightly behind the VIOFO, but the difference isn’t significant.
Side (left/right) cameras are nearly ineffective at night for capturing fast-moving objects, though they may still be helpful for parking surveillance.
Glare from headlights and traffic lights is minimal and better managed than in my previous device.
Software and Design Notes
Collision Detection Sensitivity: Even at the lowest setting, the G-sensor frequently flags minor bumps (like driveway edges or water drains) as collisions, resulting in a high volume of locked video clips. I accumulated 15GB of locked footage in just a week.
Card Slot Placement: The memory card slot is located on top of the unit, making it difficult to access when installed—especially for users with average-sized hands. Thankfully, connecting via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is simple, so physical access isn’t often necessary.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Dashcams are essential. The truth no longer matters–people will say anything to save a buck or truly don’t believe that they should be held accountable. A dashcam is your first line of defense. From traffic collisions, to encounters with law enforcement and those silly things we see that we wish were caught on video, this dashcam will capture it. Or does it?
Ease of installation:
This camera is HUGE. This is the first four channel dashcam I’ve purchased and it’s a lot larger than any of the other ones I’ve bought. The mounting point is much smaller but when you consider how much space this takes up on your windshield, especially if you have a higher-angled windshield, this will take up even more space. Unfortunately, there just isn’t enough space behind my Honda’s rearview mirror to install this so I had to install it even higher where the adhesive touches the frits and this just didn’t work for me. A warm sunny day in Los Angeles rendered the adhesive ineffective and it fell off my windshield. Dashcams have to be installed higher on your windshield so they don’t block your view and actually capture the road around you. This eliminates one channel if you install it behind your mirror as the mirror will block at least one channel of video.
Features:
But this has the versatility to remove a channel if you’re not using it. Say you want to use the main camera, rearview and get an inside view, you only need to install one camera accessory on one side and leave the other side open. One less camera, one less heat generating accessory and one less camera taking up space on your memory card. The main camera thankfully is adjustable so you can angle it down to get better angles but there’s no additional accessories that would really help out.
Video quality:
Front video quality is excellent. There’s no CPL filter or ND filters available for this camera though so good image quality doesn’t go very far when you’re dealing with reflections from other vehicles, shiny hoods and the windshield itself. This seems like a missed opportunity for a product that costs this much.
Functionality:
There’s no specifications on the included sd card. It handles four channels of recording at full resolution but I don’t know the actual read/write speeds and I don’t know if it’s a high endurance card that will handle months of writing and overwriting files and still keep the integrity of recorded files intact without any artifacts. There also seems to be no cooling on this thing, it gets warm and there’s no vents, heatsinks or active cooling anywhere around the plastic housing so I don’t know how this will last in warmer climates.
I’m all for getting more angles to cover yourself, but redundancy is also necessary. You put your entire trust in this working at all times and all conditions and that it writes to a single sd card and that sd card will reliably playback all those files. Four cameras means four times the data writing to the sd card which is probably one of the highest indicators of wear to an otherwise semi-permanent installation. I will probably upgrade the sd Card for an extreme endurance or industrial sd card just as soon as I recover from the price this just set me back.

I am really happy with this Dash cam. It is so easy to install and use it. I love the crystal clear image, and the third camera is a great idea. You can use it on any side of the main camera just simply connect to the other side.
