Bruce –
I had a professional detailer that could not get the hard water stains from our sprinklers off of my Mercedes.
He did the full wash, wax, clay bar, everything and could not remove the spots.
After reading the reviews on this product I decided to take the chance and purchase two bottles.
I received the bottles within a couple days along with their finishing wax and applicators and tested on a small spot and did not see any issues on the pain so I decided to do the whole side that had the water spots.
Following the instructions exactly I was amazed to find that it eliminated the water spots almost immediately, some areas took additional work but after another pass it cleared out all of the hard water spots.
I only used maybe an eighth of one bottle and it took care of the whole side of my car so I let my detail or know about the product so he could use it for reference in the future.
I didn’t tape off a before and after section but I did take some pictures below that will show you the treated spot and the untreated spot and the final product so you can see the difference.
It was as easy as waxing and buffing.
Great product highly recommended.

Works better than products I’ve used in the past on both paint finish and on windows. Minimal elbow greas and results. I’m not that great a detailer, but this product made me feel like a pro.
Andy –
it really works. water spots that even manual wash cant even remove.

A+++++++++++

I love Chemical Guys products. I’m accustomed to their quality and consistency of effectiveness. I own their Pink wash and their wheel cleaner products and used the wheel cleaner to help break down some rust and brake pad residue that built up on a rim. That’s a tough ask and while I didn’t clean it 100% Chemical Guys product actually broke down about 75% of the grime and dust that was caked onto the rim. It also might be that I didn’t put enough effort and elbow grease into totally cleaning it. All that as mere prelude…
I love cleaning my truck. It’s a black F150 and I enjoy washing it myself – especially on sunny days. I don’t like paying $12 every time I take my truck to a car wash to get it “the works” and I’m not close enough to a franchise that has a monthly subscription that would let me wash my truck without having to do it myself. So here we are. The hose I use has some mineral-rich water. Even here in the Pacific Northwest, where our water is rather drinkable from the faucet/hose attachment, there’s still enough iron and mineral density to eventually leave water spots on your vehicle. I finally put a filter on it but the water spots were definitely there and I couldn’t get them off with using detailer or a standard, filtered rinse and wash. Finally, I came across another Chemical Guys product and after watching the proper way to use it, I immediately purchased and tried it myself. I’m still cleaning off the gel fully with a microfiber cloth (also a CG product) my black F150 looks much sharper and more glossy than ever before!
I don’t have a great before/after picture but I would clean my truck before and, after it dried, I’d see those pesky water circles – especially on my hood where water is more likely to stand after a wash. The sides were mostly okay but I had some slight rigidity to the paint coat because of the stuff hitting it on the road over time – that also seems to come off. I didn’t have to work hard – just apply more than a trace of this stuff and work a single section (one door or half a tailgate…whatever works). Make sure you have a somewhat clean outside already – don’t do this with some mud on or it hurts the effectiveness of the product.
Anyways, it took me maybe 10 minutes to get the whole truck and the top windows applied and I came back 10 minutes later, wiped it all down and it was clean. Awesome product! Worth the $17 investment and it can cover multiple attempts from a single bottle. Do NOT dilute this – it’s a direct application product, not a “mix with water” product.

I’m frankly surprised this stuff works as well as it does. It took a good deal of elbow grease, but I’m taking it a few square feet at a time. Eventually, I was able to completely remove the hard water spots and embedded dirt from parking next to the sprinklers for a few months.
I do suggest being careful to not leave it on for too long (and neutralize it with soapy wooder.) I also noticed some very light orange stains that I eventually removed with some sanitizing wipes.
Still, it’s infinitely better than it was, and worked equally well on the car’s paint, hubcaps, and windows/mirrors. I think I’m be able to finish the one side of the car that has the spots with a single bottle, but I’d but this product again if we’re stupid enough to park by the sprinklers again.
(Attached pictures show the type of water spots and dirt I was dealing with, a partially cleaned door, small section of cleaned hubcap, and a fully cleaned door. I’ve obviously got a lot more work to do, but I don’t think it’d be possible without a product like this.)

Still in search for a good glass stain remover product
William Proctor –
This is the best stuff you will ever buy to remove hard water spots. It will clean glass spotless. I clean my whole car with it every couple of months and it shines like new. It takes the place of clay bar It removes all contaminates from paint I remove it with very warm water and car soap. Regular washing will not remove residue it takes hot water or clay bar lube.
Brad –
Adding my 2 cents…this works immediately and does exactly what it claims to do. Make sure you have water to rinse rather quickly. Took water spots off my windows I’m seconds. I have tried the pink stuff, baking soda, vinegar, bar keepers, lemon juice you name it. Buy it, you will be relieved at how quickly your water spots resolve.
ARAMS –
Great stuff! I’ve had really bad water spots on my windshield for years. I asked detailers, body shops, and glass installers what I could use. I tried all the suggestions. Rubbing compound, vinegar, clay bar, and Bon Ami among a few. While researching glass replacement, I saw on forums that people had good luck with this stuff. Although skeptical, I ordered a couple bottles. It didn’t do much applying by hand but when I used my 3 inch buffer, the spots became virtually indistinguishable on the windshield. Now I had a severe case of water spots on my 19 year old truck so I don’t expect perfection but I got the next thing to it. I did however remove the spots on the paint with hand application.
