The silicone is great to protect your paint or trim. The black trim makes for a clean looking install. No obstructions of the state or county so its a fully legal frame unlike many dealerships frames. The frame hugs the plate perfectly so the size is just right. There is a top and bottom, be sure to check and put the drainage holes at the bottom. The drainage holes are slits on the side, not to be confused with the air vent holes on the back. A tool comes with it but i found it easier to use my hands. The plate enters from the front and the edges are flipped over the front, this is not like the ones where the plate slides in from a wide open slit on a side. I think this design is more functional and durable than the open sided ones. Install is as easy as a phone case. Just be sure youve got the drainage slits on the bottom, I had to remove it and reinstall the correct way once I realized. No screws are included, you use your existing screws. I didnt see color options but I went with black and its a sleek look. There is no metal material other than your existing plate and screws(amazon asked)

Excellent product. The includes tool makes for an easy installation. It looks good and will make the relocation from the vehicle to the cargo carrier much simpler than contending with a dealership type plate frame. Very good install directions are included. So far very impressed.

Fits and easily installed per Mr Hubby. Purchased it to protect our new 2026 SUV. Not sure if will fit if we get custom license plate cover (which we are considering purchasing). Hope it lasts!

Edit: I first reviewed this silicone holder reporting that it did not have drain holes, but in fact it does! I ordered a single frame. Fits very snugly and was easy to install around plate. The provided yellow plastic tool helps but not necessary. Flexible but sturdy. Does not obscure any part of my Maine license plate. Be aware, it doesn’t come with screws to hang plate on car. No hardware included, at least with the single frame only. No big deal. Happy with it and good price. Would buy again!

It’s black. It’s thin. It’s silicon. It’s stretchy. It’s tight. It will help keep the plate from making contact with the paint. So no unsightly scratches on the paint job. It makes my car look great. Now the women won’t leave me alone. It’s awesome!
